Other iPhone 9 / SE 2 Delayed?

The whole thing about the se was the small screen size for people that wanted a small phone this iPhone 8 size isn’t really what the se was about, it’s just an old phone with new internals this is what I don’t get, why didn’t they keep the se size for people that want a small phone

for someone who wants it out you do post a lot in here in the thread specifically about a phone you dont like.

do yourself a favor, leave or get out, this will save you mental trauma or stress.

An old phone with new internals IS what an SE should be. Stands for Special Edition not small edition.

I get that but my mum liked it for the small size the iPhone 8 is to big for her that’s why they should stick with the same size and beef up the specs there any a few phones around the iPhone 8 size

Battery life would be poor though with such a small size, wouldnt it?

So because your Mum likes the smaller phone Apple should cater for her? 😆 (I know that isn't what you meant but...)

The SE can still be bought, and is still perfectly usable on the latest iOS. Tell her to buy a brand new SE, depending where you are in the world they can be bought for peanuts now, even from retail stores such as supermarkets that still sell them.

If Apple were to beef up the specs of the original SE, which has zero internal space for any upgrades, but even if they could put in a better camera, later Touch ID, a better screen and modem... the battery that is already too small, would suffer even more. It cannot be done.
 
Marquees Brownlee has also hinted at a new iphone and he usually has one to review 2 weeks beforehand

That small screen is gone, partly due to modern smartphone market trends (bigger pictures, videos, Asian character support/writing), partly due to tech difficulties (a compromise between screen/battery size, contents optimisation for different screen sizes, etc.) Sure Apple could still technically release a 4” screen device, they just chose not to complicate things for themselves, which is totally understandable.
