In my experience sometimes you have to start Customize a few times to get it to work properly. Also, reboot your phone and run it.

true thats how i usually get it to work but that doesnt seem to be working..

i'll keep at it, i was just wondering if anyone else was having that problem

A few questions.

I have 1.1.2 otb updated to 1.1.3 and will be using a mac.

Anyone done this with the same setup? If so how is it working?

All I want to do is jailbreak. I am with AT&T and want to stay that way. If I do this will it automatically unlock or can I choose to only jailbreak?

Do I need a certain version of iTunes or any other files on my computer. Or can I simply download ziphone and begin.

Thanks for any help, I am new at this.

from what i have read, just download ziphone software and
you can choose only to jailbreak

Installer.app does not install with this software for me. Someone else had this problem too, any solutions?

I really wanna give this a shot, but before I do (I wasted about 40-50 hours of my life on the "Official 1.1.3 Jailbreak" LONG method only to end up back on a beautifully functioning 1.1.1 Jailbreak again) I want to get some feedback from you brave souls as to how 3rd party apps have been working out.

I seem to remember the newest version of Installer pointing out that 3rd party apps are now being handled appropriately and are now running under "Mobile" instead of "root", but I have yet to hear/read anywhere that the majority of the apps are now being installed properly and are running well.

SOOOOO...can someone please clue me in on if the majority of 3rd party apps are running successfully under 1.1.3 with this new jailbreak. Cause I really wanna pull the trigger on this jailbreak, but don't want to have to downgrade back to 1.1.1 when I find out most apps still don't work.

Is there a Mac GUI version? I downloaded what was said to be the Mac version, but everything looks like windows files (.exe or .dll files)...
I have a .dat file but it has a "Graphic Converter" icon (zibri.dat)? Weird...
There is also a plain "ziphone" file that looks like a terminal file but there doesn't seem to be any instructions with it...
Clearly I am confused...

i've ran this a few times and it says the script completed and nothing actually happens

I've done it!! Finally!!

http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=656

Follow the steps there and with the DOS, type in:

ziphone -a -j -u

it says this:

"IMPORTANT: CURRENTLY DOING -a -j ALONE MAY NOT WORK FOR SOME. THIS IS BEING TROUBLESHOOTED AS WE SPEAK AND WILL BE RESOLVED. IN THE MEANWHILE, -a -j -u WILL WORK IF YOU HAVE A 4.6 BL IPHONE!"

Followed that and it works like a charm! ;):apple:

I have found the same problem, it completes but nothing has changed. Running it again now and including the unlock.

It Does Work!!!

Just tried this jailbreaking system and it does work!! I was real skeptical at first, but decided to try it anyway, and what they say is true in about 3 mins your done. I had to try it twice before getting it to work though. The main thing to remember here is to shut your phone off, then with the phone off press the home and power buttons and when you see the apple logo release the power button but keep the home button pressed until you see the itunes and USB cable then release the home button, the background will eventually turn blue then let it do its magic...And by the way everything does work including Maps. The best thing i can say is that you do not have to restore from backup, nothing gets deleted. Thanks Guys great job once again....
:D :D :D
I.m on windows BTW..
