If stock shows around London I'll pre pay and try and get them to refund and sign up to the IUP. Assuming that works as someone has suggested.... thanks for the post on that BTW.

Yes that is an option, confirmed by multiple people on this forum.

If you reserve for pick up tonight do you have to pick up tomorrow? Is it possible to wait until Friday?

I think it has to be the following day. I'm not 100% sure though. You can come and collect your device before your scheduled window time.

You can do that. I talked to a senior apple employee and she called me and said they will refund at the store and do the IUP

You have to go through the normal purchase option, then when you are selecting storage option click on check availiability

because my local has none today then does this mean there will be none tomorrow at 6am?

No, not necessarily. Haven't really figured out where 6am stock is coming from yet.

I finally managed to grab one this afternoon. A 7 Plus 32GB Black. I drove all the way to Cambridge to get one - a 2.5hr round trip.
Just to add to my post...the iPhone I reserved, became available around 11:15am. Might have been a little earlier, but that's the time I reserved. There were quite a lot available.

Another thing to note is that the store WAS booking people in for reservations, as walk ins. What I mean is, you could turn up, say what you wanted, and they'd book you a time slot (if the model was available).

That completely contradicts the guy I spoke to on the phone this morning, who simply said I'd have I keep trying and couldn't get one from walking into the store.

I saw that too...people were being booked in as walk in's.

This is what they should be doing. Seems absurd to not allow someone who's travelled into Store to buy one if its in stock and available. It's just unfortunate for all of us that we want the models that no Store has.

Bought one from Edinburgh! My family member is going to pick it up and post it to me! But I don't get the satisfaction and noice feeling of picking it up :(. Oh well. At least I've bought it now! :)

Ok, I am done waiting for JB plus and went for the black one instead picking it up tomorrow from Covent Garden. I don't want to discover that JB pluses are back in stock next week.

Seen pics and after a day or two it wears so badly so i think you did the right thing.
