Ugh, is it definite on the signature? Nobody is going to be home tomorrow. We both have to work.
Do you not have an option to have it delivered to a courier company or postal service box location which you then open with a code they text you? Here in Finland I open the box (located at various shopping centres, accessible 24/7) and after removing the package I sign for the package on a computer like screen which is on the front of the box rack. Very simple, available at my convenience and no need to interact in person with anyone.

I’ve had my shipping notice for the 11. It’s DPD. I’m in the UK. No tracking on DPD showing yet though.

Got the DPD tracking number and can see from DPD app that they are expecting the parcel. (UK order)

Any idea if contactless delivery is available? I suppose we need to sign, right?

Did you use the Delivery Reference number in the app? I’m getting “something went wrong”

Just received update from Apple showing the phone is out for delivery (originating in Netherlands) by DHL to arrive tomorrow here in Finland

Yes got it in Apple app, but after a while it appeared in the DPD app as well.

The phone arrived in Alaska first. I would think it would have cleared customs in Alaska, as that was point of origin into the U.S.

Apple tracking has been worthless this time around. Apple needs to look into that aspect.

It’s possible it cleared customs in Alaska. However, last autumn when I ordered the 11; it cleared customs in Louisville. I’ve been using the UPS tracker and not Apple tracking (agreed it’s been having issues).

Great! Just checked (for the 100th time 😅) the orders page in the Apple store app: now it progressed to shipped!!🚀
Link to DHL page, it says that the package is being collected in Lodi, Milan (delivery to Rome).
Interesting to see how SEs across Europe were spread over most EU Countries before final delivery, while US orders come directly from Shenzen.
In Italy there is a warehouse near Milan, in Lodi, called Flextronics, which is the usual warehouse from where Apple products are shipped (a lightning adapter was shipped from there a week ago).

Well well, mine is in Lodi, Milan, too. But expected delivery: 27.04.2020.
I am not exactly pleased (had ordered within 2 minutes). But if I look at the situation in Northern Italy and in my country: still very acceptable.

Maybe it still works for tomorrow and if not: there are far more serious problems at the moment.

Aaaaaaaaaaand we’re in Louisville with everyone else destined for the US! Slowly but surely getting closer to Wisconsin! Which is close to my home state!

Looks like my SE’s have shipped too. DHL this time. Still no tracking available yet for either parcel.

In the US, UPS and postal service don’t have that arrangement to my knowledge but there are options to have it delivered elsewhere. UPS typically tries again the next day so it doesn’t seem worth the trouble since I won’t be home until 8pm. Just hate to introduce a glitch in the delivery process.

As soon as the item is collected by DHL, tracking page on DHL will reflect the expected delivery date. They usually collect items at 5-6PM.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the info. Let's wait and see, so it'll be interesting. I have ordered from Apple several times, all kinds of things (but the last time was a bit longer ago). But this is actually the first time that the shipment comes from Milano.
Saluti alla bella Italia!

Now instead of looking at a map I look at a clock:

*wake up at 6:15*

“Hmmmm...says here it was scanned in Louisville, Kentucky at 12:21 this morning, I wonder when it will leave there?”

*check at 8*
*check at 9*
*check at 9:45*
*check at 10:15*
etc.

I got my shipping email for my SE. There's a Track Shipment link on the Apple website which took me to a tracking page which shows a "shipment pickup" at "Hinckley GB". If I want to manage the shipment, the link takes me to the DHL website.

Right on time I’ve received the Apple email as well. :)

Mine is still "shipment ready for UPS" for Sprint. For some reason I thought it said two day delivery.... Hopefully that's wrong because if that's the case it won't come tomorrow. -_-

Got SMS and email from Apple this morning too, though seems it stays in Louisville for 10 hours already. Mine is delivered to Canada, not sure if it will arrive here on time tomorrow with custom clearing...

In the shipping email for me it says that they're doing no signature delivery. But that's UPS in Canada, so it may be different depending on where you are.
