Grr why does FedEx even offer an option of waiving the signature requirement if they ignore it and still leave a door tag?!

I have signature on file, but UPS returned it, would not deliver (see my previous comment)

Apple support:

“I understand your frustration, . However, do to restrictions in light of COVID, delivery services have suspended the ability for a signature on file (pre delivery signature)”

makes no sense, suppose to keep distance, so you’d think they’d prefer signature on file!

Yep. Mine sat in Shanghai for over 2 days before finally going to Korea this morning. 2 days ago, while sitting there, the tracking said, "The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release." Nothing changed for 2 days. Then the tracking said, "Your package has been delayed due to events beyond our control. We're adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible." That message appeared just before departing for Korea.

Mine said shipped the other day then today is saying delayed. So am I to take that as it being out of the shipping location and stuck at the border or customs or something else? The info is on the UPS site but it doesn’t say anything further just delayed, no reason. Left Shanghai China a couple days ago.
Edit: as I read more posts I see others are in the same boat. I guess we wait..

Anyone pre-order early Saturday see any movement yet?

I ordered mine late afternoon on the 17th from Apple. It's now scheduled to arrive end of day on Monday.I went to FedEx to see where it is now and this is what I got.

Is there an Apple distribution center in Middelton, Pennsylvania? Also, since I live in Southern California I assumed they would use a West Coast distribution center. Not complaining -- just curious how their supply chain works.

Ordered one from Apple on April 18th. Gave a delivery estimate of May 4th through 6th. Received it on April 30th. Used the Android to IOS app to transfer everything from my Galaxy S7 and it completed it within 10 minutes without a problem. Even transferred most of the Android apps over, which it stated there could be a problem. Not noticing any speed improvement over the S7. So far, so good.

I ordered at 5:01am on the 17th. iPhone arrived on the 24th, bricked and unable to restore. I sent it back on the 25th and Apple received it on the 27th. Now my replacement is “processing” with an estimated delivery date of May 11-18.

FML.
