This was my experience, too, when transferring from my iPhone SE (original) that was already on 13.4.1. I was pretty impressed by the ease of the transfer.
I opted not to do the phone to phone transfer. I just did it old school: backed up my original to iTunes, then restored it to the new one.

The only pain in the neck was iCloud Photo Library. It took overnight to sort itself out. But it was done when I woke up this morning!

The sound on the new SE is so much better then the original SE. I have found the extra size of the 4.7“ isn’t really a big deal, even though I wanted an updated 4” screen.
+1 for sound improvements. I was stunned at how good it sounds on any volume, but being able to hear very noisy music on low volume is just wonderful. I adapted to the size instantly.

I got White 128GB yesterday afternoon (5PM) and boy.. I love this phone.
I really think the best way to sum it up is "Feels Like Home."

The battery life is pretty solid too!! Unplugged at 6:40AM and it died just before 9 PM. May even improve tomorrow, since there was a lot of background activity downloading photos from iCloud Photo Library and I was taking a ton of photos through the day.

I got mine and I love it. Question for every other SE owner in here -

I noticed if I tap anywhere on the top half of the phone (especially near the camera) I hear a slight rattle noise. I shake the phone (to undo something) I can also hear a slight rattle near the camera. Is this normal?

What I noticed is that if it’s on a solid surface, it doesn’t happen.

On my original "old" SE I have exactly the same rattle. Can't remember if it has been that way since day one or not. I use it with no case and have dropped it a number of times so a drop may have led to this but it works perfectly. The aluminium back is so superior to glass. I wish the current phones were built that way. I could care less about wireless charging and would sacrifice that 100% to gain a more sturdy phone.

I can't comment on my experience with the new SE as DHL "misplaced" my package on Friday so I have not yet received it.

Mine was just left at the front door less than 15 minutes ago. No signature required. I wouldn’t even know the phone was delivered, but the delivery person was very loud on the front porch.
Nice, mine was returned by UPS...

So I have a PO Box that I can use a regular address for packages, (it’s the post office address and “suite” number for Box number), and I have my signature on file (electronic), however in chatting with Apple they said this: “I understand your frustration, . However, do to restrictions in light of COVID, delivery services have suspended the ability for a signature on file (pre delivery signature)” ... this makes no sense! I was (and Apple support) unable to redirect the phone to a UPS facility for pick up.

So, with Apple stores closed I finally thought to check Best Buy for unlocked iPhone SE 2 yesterday and ordered there, it should arrive sat may 2 for store pickup (curbside).

I preordered Monday 4/20 from ATT and it was shipped out yesterday. Delivery is scheduled for Monday.
Same here; note mine was ordered from Apple 4/20 and UPS tracking listed shipped from Apple, Lebanon TN, so must be pre-shipped from China to US. Delivery scheduled Monday.

I hope this is the right thread to ask this. I am eager to replace my old and well-cared SE with the new SE. I would like to hear ppl's experience about receiving their package. Does Apple still have that "pre-sign" thing for UPS (or Fedex??) delivery? With this pandemic, I do not want to be bothered with signature and/or going to UPS/Fedex store to pick up my package. Thank you for your time!

Did you read my comment, just 2 comments back?

If it’s a PO Box you’re trying to send to, answer is, UPS will not deliver. Period. Other ppl have said they’ve left it without signature, not sure if those are houses, apartments or what...hopefully they will chime in.

Ah, my bad! I guess I was not awake. I am sorry for the frustrating experience and hope your store pickup will go smoothly.

UPS left mine with no signature, no doorbell, nothing. This is at a single family house.

Thank you, that's good to know! I hope you are enjoying your new SE.

Actually, I bought the SE as a backup iPhone. I have an 11 Pro. If I find a year or so down the road I didn't need it, my boy will get it. He is 2-3 generations back so for him, this would be an upgrade.

My phone won’t update either. It keeps saying “estimating time” When the WiFi connection is dropped it’s now stuck on paused.

I think the servers are struggling this launch as I’ve seen a couple of update issue posts. You may need to cancel that update, restart and try it all again.

I’ve tried a couple of different times on different days. I’m going to see if my daughter’s 6s has any problems updating. I don’t really use anything that this update affects so I may just stick it out until the next update.

After a whole week of analysing and negotiating with the seller, I sealed the deal and am expecting two white phones by tomorrow.

I am quite thrilled and so is my wife :)

Curious to know what you find rubbish about the S10.

Bloatware (bixby)
Inconsistent settings interface (tough to follow guides since android settings varies slightly from one device to another)
No single smart watch can compare to the Apple Watch
Playstore is cluttered with garbage and good apps are harder to find
Lots of weird behaviour (phone heating up while on snapchat for only 5 minutes, crashing/freezing etc)
Android boasts being open source but most bloatware isn't removable and unless you're willing to root your device (which I think violates warranty but that could be wrong) you're stuck with what you've got. and what you've got on Android isn't as polished as iOS
iOS actually gives reasons to look forward to updates, androids updates are obscure and seemingly pointless (aside from of course fixing security vulnerabilities)
Android is also too hardware focused.. an under the screen finger print reader is cool but it loses that cool factor when the software experience blows.

Some good points in that list. Thanks for responding.

Grr why does FedEx even offer an option of waiving the signature requirement if they ignore it and still leave a door tag?!
