Wish Apple store was open, so I could get them to install the Belkin screen protector. I tried after getting the phone and it has a few bubbles.

Try the ones that come on a tray, this really helps with not getting any bubbles.

Mine didn't deliver today. Guess UPS Canada is not as efficient as the US. Probably have to wait until Monday :(

I've looked very closely in different lights. The SE red is definitely a slightly darker shade of red than my 11 red. It's subtle but I can either clearly see it or I'm imagining things. :)

Mine came and is all set up. Set up was easy with no issues! Got the white and love it. Came from an 8+ and I love this size phone. It's just so comfortable to hold and easy to use. It's like coming back home! That's what I thought it would feel like and it does! This thing flies too and is super smooth!!

This is exactly what I wanted to hear being an 8+ user and wanting to go back to the 4.7 size of my iPhone 7. I loved the smaller size and battery life with the smart battery case.

I was starting to think mine wasn’t going to show today, and was kind of peeved that if it got redelivered tomorrow that would mean it had spent not one but two days on a UPS truck in 97 degree weather.

It did show, at the very end of the delivery day, and as I thought the box and phone itself were quite hot to the touch. On top of that. The battery was completely depleted!

I’ve never received an iPhone like that- usually it’s around half or 3/4 charged.

I know that it’s most damaging to a battery for it to withstand extreme temperatures while either fully charged or completely depleted.

Should I be concerned about kicking off my new SE with a compromised battery?

I wouldn’t worry about it. The battery isn’t going to be dead over being depleted one time. Shouldn’t be any long term damage. You should be fine.

SE 128GB arrived today and the phone to phone transfer worked without a hitch. Transferred from an iPhone 11 with iOS 13.4.1.

Happy with everything so far. The SE is blazing fast and there's no difference in speed coming from the 11 on standard apps or games. Still need to test it out a full day to see what the battery life is like, but I did one quick charge and it went from 36 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.

Well I wish the battery were my only issue. iPhone SE got stuck during the 13.4.1 update, resulted in 3-4 DFU recovery mode restore attempts with Support, before they eventually gave up and said I have to talk to Sales about getting an exchange unit. Boy I’m glad I woke up at 5am to get a launch day SE. Not a good first impression at all!

Mine is finally transferring the data from my iPhone7.
i have tried over 20 times to get this to work.
in the end I managed to upgrade the iOS this morning on the SE to 13.4.1, then reset and start the migration again, and finally it started transferring data, fingers crossed it completes.

the iCloud backup wouldn’t work, as I could see them, but as it was on a later iOS version I got a message saying it couldn’t use it.

For me, it wasn’t a quick or easy process and I have spent over 10 hours trying to get it to work, hopefully there are only a few of us that have issues like this.

UPDATE :- my transfer has finished and all is good. Once the 2 phones were on the same iOS, it was very quick and easy.
In hindsight I should have left my iPhone7 on 13.4, but hey, hi sight is a wonderful thing.

Hope everyone enjoys there new phone.

I feel bad for you all who had issues. Luckily I didn’t not. I opened the phone. Updated the software and did the transfer from my 11 pro max and I was done minutes later up and running. Sorry some of you are having issues.

This was my experience, too, when transferring from my iPhone SE (original) that was already on 13.4.1. I was pretty impressed by the ease of the transfer.

I don't get the big deal over what color a phone is. I end up putting a case of my liking over it anyways. I'm more disappointed with all the new SE's having a black colored front, though. At my age I prefer a white front as it's more visible when I'm trying to find it in the house. :D

What did the trick on the 20th time? My bricked SE says it needs to be restored, but can’t get past the “verified with apple” step.

They’re saying a replacement won’t arrive until May 12-19. That is pretty awful for a person who woke up at 5am and got their order in for launch day only to receive a bricked device. I’m getting the case escalated now. What a crappy buying and support experience, but I’m glad to hear it’s gone smoothly for others.

Did you try DFU mode?

Nothing that I hadn’t try before unfortunately 😟
I basically kept trying all options, then reset/erase everything and try again a different way.
The final time I had set it up manually as a new phone, went into software upgrade and this time it didn’t error, it said download and install update. So I did that, then reset/erase everything and then migrated from my 7, which worked 👍

I hope you get it working and dont have to wait for a replacement.

Well, after about 9 hours of trying every permutation of the restore process with Apple Support to unbrick my launch day SE, without success, they escalated the case and are doing a replacement for a new unit.

Problem is, they don’t submit the “prioritized order” for the replacement device until this bricked one is received and processed by Apple. I sent the PoS back to them via FedEx this morning and their current estimate is that I’ll receive the replacement sometime between May 11-18.

So glad I woke up and ordered at 5:01am on April 17.

Cheers!

Mine came just before 1pm while I was doing weekly grocery shopping. I wasn't able to get to it until evening, so overnight got it updated and paired with my apple watch.

Just got notification it is coming Tuesday. Ordered through Verizon, and FedEx let me presign through Delivery Options.
