The current SE is, surprisingly, a killer buy. Never would have said that until I got one myself. Battery life is incredible, performance is snappy, apps seldom close when in the background, and it just has that old world charm. Not to mention the best part — it’s size! I do recommend to anyone on the fence about it.

I mocked Apple for offering this phone at $430 when you can get a better phone in nearly every way from other manufacturers. And I still stand by that. But then I got one for myself and realized how good this thing is in its own right.

I switched from a 64GB 11, because a battery replacement was the same cost as getting a fresh 128GB SE 3. It was worth it for having the same longevity as the base iPhone 14 and using 5G, which is widespread in my area.

It looks dated as ****, but it excels at everything you expect a smartphone to do. Such a weird device. It’s a flagship in my book. The performance is absolutely insane.

TouchID, Home Button, no notch, light, small, drops in a pocket, LCD no PWM, no FaceID.

It is peak iPhone. It is the most perfect iPhone ever made. The only improvement it needs is adopting the high DPI of the old plus series phones, whose screens to this day have never been equaled.

Compared to IPhone SE3, all other iPhones are garbage.

The display is fine. I wish Apple released a Plus model alongside it though.

I got 3 hours on my SE 2020 and 6 hours on my 2022. Everyone claiming them to have similar battery life is a liar!
