When you move the apps icons on the screen, you can't let any blank space between them.
It's possible to to thi with th "Empty" website :
- Open Safari on your iPhone or iPod touch
- Go to this address : http://iempty.tooliphone.net
- Tap "Customize" menu
- Tap Safari "+" button
- Choose "Add to home screen"
- Tap "Add" button
A transparent icon has been added on the springboard.
You can edit/move/delete it like any other application icon.
It allows to organize your screens a little or to make them "funny", like this :

I have some older text and pictures I would like to keep. How do I do that?
A little trick I stumbled on earlier today by accident: If you shake the phone while typing in a text field, you get a popup to undo text. (tested in MMS and notes)
I searched for 'shake' and 'undo' in this thread and didn't get any results..
It's amazing how difficult it can be to find the answer to what you think is a simple question!
Texting - everytime someone send me a text message or I sent them one, they get "attached" to the bottom of the string of messages that have already taken place - even if I or the other person is not using reply.
Is there a way to start new text "strings". I tried going to a particular contact and choosing to send a text, but that added to the bottom of the string as well.
Thanks fabulous iPhone forum folks!
I have iphone 3G version 2.1, If you want to capture iphone screen u can hold sleep button and press home button. This will save screenshot of your screen in camera roll.
How do I force quit out of an application? The process at the beginning of the thread tells me to hold the home button in, but that now takes me to voice control. What am I supposed to do then?
Hi there. Really hoping someone can help me with this.
When I recieve a long text message and click "view" (when the preview is on my homescreen) the message opens but so does the keyboard with the cursor flashing in the text field.
How do i turn this off? Everyone else i know just has the message, no keyboard. It is really annoying as to view the whole message i have to click "messages" at the top left of the screen then click the message from my list.
Eternal gratitude to whoever can help me
Thanks
Clare
Exit out of the app by single tapping the home button. Then access you multitasking bar by double tapping the home button, a bar with your recent apps should pop up (this is the multitasking bar). Then hold down on the app in the multitasking bar that is having problems. You should see a red circle pop up on the top of the app, click on it and it will be deleted from the multitasking bar and should restart the application. If you are on an iPod touch 2g or iPhone 3g and below than just exit out of the app and it should just restart.
