I'm still confused as to why my launch day iPhone 6 is still showing 100%. I downloaded a windows app called 3utools which is supposed to read a few more details from the phone (I think there's a Mac version too). But it only added to the confusion as it reported this.

My battery is 260mAh above it's original design capacity?

iPhone X 93%, since launch week. Definitely getting the battery replaced once summer is over.

Battery capacity was 99 % 3 days back, today it shows 97%. It took 4 months to go from 100- 99 %, and 3 days from 99-97 %.

My moms iPhone 6S shows 98% health in the beta menu. It‘s a launch day model and has been in use ever since, no way that‘s an accurate number. I‘d take these numbers with a big grain of salt.

All batteries don't come off the assembly line with the exact same capacity- some have slightly more capacity than the specification (and maybe some, slightly less). The battery capacity apps derive their current capacity percentage compared to the specification. If a new iPhone 6 shipped with a battery that had more real capacity than the spec, the battery capacity apps will show 100% for a long long time. Perhaps years - until the battery degrades below the spec.

If that’s the case it makes me wonder what the capacity on my iPhone 6 battery really was when new since diagnostics on my computer shows its capacity now as 2011 mAh

I'm down to 98% as of April 21/2018.

Down to 96% as of May 4th. I’m wondering if I got a “bad” battery from thyou get go...

iPhone 8

Ive got the iPhone X, charging the phone by using wireless charing. Find it wierd that its now at 97% one month ago it was at 100%.

I’m kind of in the same boat except I’m using wired charging. See my post above.

iPhone X
Bought on january 19th
Until last friday 100%
Since saturday 99%

I'm really surprised a lot of people bought it since launch day / week and their iPhones are in 100%

iPhone X, received November 20

I use it a lot and the last Time I checked Coconut I had around 150 cycles done.

I only use Wireless charger over Night.

Battery Level at 99%

My X dropped to 98% on 26 Mar with 99 charge cycles.

As of now I’m at 99% according to coconut and still at 98% according to the phone with 141 charge cycles.

This includes a mix Fast charging, Wireless and normal.

Sounds like your battery is degrading due to faster charging and wireless charging. Do you notice if any of these warm up the device?

Mines still have 100% capacity with cocunut showing 2800mAh, also various battery apps, compared to designed 2716mAh since got it on launch date.
