Sounds like your battery is degrading due to faster charging and wireless charging. Do you notice if any of these warm up the device?

Mines still have 100% capacity with cocunut showing 2800mAh, also various battery apps, compared to designed 2716mAh since got it on launch date.

I'm not the person you were addressing, but I have only used the included iPhone 5 watt and 12 watt chargers on,my iPhone 8. I am seeing worse degradation than @0014

I charge in the iPhone leather case, but there is no warning from Apple against charging with this case on. In fact, I would venture to say that it would be harder on the phone if I took the case off every time I charged it (wear and tear on the buttons).

When was the phone purchased and put into service?

I bought it on release date in the country I live which was 1 Dec. It has been used daily since.

It's not degrading fast. It dropped from 100% to 98% on 26 Mar. 2 Months later with 42 more charges it has remained on 98% according to apple and gone up to 99% according to coconut. My peak battery capacity was 2741mah (according to coconut when new). It is now at 2688mah after 143 charge cycles as of today

My phone varies between a Otterbox when at work and a Silicon case. I use a 5w wireless charger over night. Regardless of charging it always has a case on.

The only problem I may encounter is that living in the Middle East it gets fooking hot here. So I have to be careful about where I charge during the summer months at daytime. My job involves a lot of time outdoors and I have a Anker 26800mah battery pack to charge on the go.

My iPhone X (bought Xmas) dropped to 99% battery capacity last week. I charge it overnight with an Apple 10W Power Adapter.

iPhone X - use it every day and fast charge it all the time with the 29W and USB-C to lightning cable.

Still at 100%.

Launch day iPhone X.

Been on 100% until iOS 12 beta.

It’s now 98%. Daily wireless charging overnight and random USB charge during the day using 5W chcaeger.

Hmm I wonder which I should believe!

I got my iPhone X on the 27th of November. Fast Charging it with the 29 watts charger+ USB-C Apple cable most of the time. Sometimes I charge it with our iPad 4 charger. And when I´m in the car I charge it with a Wicked Chilli Car charger which I bought for my old iPhone 6, using an original Apple cable. Once or twice I used a 5 watts Apple charger. I´ve put it once on a fast charger, for some seconds, to test it, at an Apple Store. I checked the Battery capacity ca. 2 weeks ago and it was at 100%. I checked it last night and it is at 96%. Normal? I use the Settings app to check the health. I charge it ever since with a case on. iOS 11.4

I would trust coconut I just don’t trust Apple with the numbers and it’s a beta anyways :)

Hmm, I'm not so sure that Coconut is that accurate either. But apart from mild interest in the numbers I'm not overly fussed. It will become my wife's once the X2Plus is released (or whatever name they come up with).

Launch day X is now at 91%. Wondering what’s going to happen with the battery replacement program and whether I will need to make use of it this year - will Apple seriously raise the price back again after it ‘ends’ on December 31st 2018?!

How is everyone battery holding up? My phone is 10 mths old and it's showing 91% as of today.
Not good IMO

88% - November 2017 i have bought it.
Heavy User

In Summer battery suffered from heat...

96% and launch day. VERY heavy user (Screen Time confirms this) and don’t pay any attention to my remaining charge until it gets below 20%. Charge every night on a wireless pad and use a wireless stand at my desk throughout the day. Saw plenty of heat at the pool/beach this summer. Very impressive overall but I honestly don’t care because it is going back to Sprint when my XS Plus arrives in a few weeks.
