The difference is hard to describe.
Somehow anything is harder to read and not so crisp anymore like in iOS 11.

Please everyone, if you take the time to post here make sure and report it to Apple.
I would contact Apple support and ask for a senior advisor so they can forward the case on to engineering. Is filling out the ‘product feedback’ on the Apple website the only way to do it? I have done that, but wonder if there is another way to report the issue.

Yes! And that is exactly how my 8+ looked immediately after update. However, 24 hours later, the screen is sharp and clear. The only thing I changed was the transparency of the dock. Really strange! So I decided to look at the tips app cause why not, and I’m guessing this is the iPhone X screen? Is it just me or does it look super dull?
I noticed that after updating my screen looked very unsaturated. I was using the default iOS 11 wallpaper. But I’m guessing my eyes adjusted cause I don’t see it so much anymore, but I’m guessing the issue is still there. Now I’m using the iOS 12 default wallpaper and the colors seem more saturated but duller... like the screen is dark. I can’t explain it. So weird.Yes!
