Face ID looks better than expected IMO in terms of real life use of Apple Pay.

I was leaning towards 8, I may do 10 now. Let's see pricing.

So in terms of advantage over 8, it has the better screen and fewer bezels, better camera, Face ID and potentiall better battery life. That's it, right? 8 has the same chip, glass back and metal edge, etc.

One of the best advantages of OLED as Samsung has shown off is always on screens because you can turn on individual pixels. I was hoping with the addition of wireless charging I could put it on the charger and it would tell me the time throughout the night similar to a desk side clock.

Realistically, most customers won't get their hands on an iPhone X until early to mid next year.

If you need to upgrade today, it may make sense to get a 7 or 8 and then upgrade again late next year.

this is the first year in a long time that I've been so unimpressed with Apple's offerings. mostly disappointed that iPhone X only comes in one size and is only offered in 64GB/256GB. I need more than 64 but way less than 256. annoying. iPhone 8 not having portrait mode is ignorant. I honestly have no clue which way I'm going to go.
