Mr mobile is the best reviewer out now.
He’s good but he’s an android user so even he’s not subjective.

Yeah apps need updating. So is it that apps need to be updated for the Max screen? In the verge review he said XS and Max display the same amount of content just slightly larger
Nilay uses an iPhone X as his main phone though so
Appreciate the early insights, but do others note certain reviewers taking joy in poking fun at the iPhones? & it's not from an independent viewpoint - it's like an intentional mocking to satisfy their prominent anti-Apple market? MKBHD for eg. I have plenty of respect for him, but he could be a bit more professional when it comes to stating flaws in iPhones imo.
One thing I listen for in reviews are a product's negative aspects, but it's like watching the news - you don't want a bias/emotional slant on the reporting, just give it to me straight.
I still thought his unboxing was good for the most part.
So do others that are paid to shill for other brands....until they are exposed by the “sent for iPhone” tag.
They all prefer iPhones even if it pains them to admit it.
Of course you would think anyone who criticizes Apple is paid off lolI found it funny that after reviewing and so many glass backed phones, that he singled out the iPhone X’s max as a scratch magnet.
Wonder who is footing his bill, Samsung, one plus, or Huawei?
It’s not google, he dropped them as soon as the checks stopped.

Actually today at 6:00PM ESTReal reviews tomorrow though...MKBHD will come tomorrow
Yeah, I didn’t like his review in particular. He also seemed to note this year’s X upgrade as being just “last year’s phone” which it essentially is, but made it seem like this was Apple’s first S upgrade, and not the cycle were used to.The verge came off as incredibly bias.
Nilay looked upset that he had to review the xs max over the pixel 3.
Don’t really take his reviews at face value.

Guy is a joke, apple needs to wise up and blacklist him, so he can fade away into obscurity.
Does anybody remover last years iPhone X review, where he went out of his way to make Face ID look like it doesn’t work?
It seems like he has an axe to grind.
Wonder why? /s

The biggest tool the Verge has.
Honestly the Verge is going down the drain and has been for a while. I've been looking for a new outlet for a while.
[doublepost=1537279677][/doublepost]Lastly, anyone know how iJustine has the leather Xs Max Electric Blue case?? It's not on Apple's website!! It's the one case I wanted.
SMH. When did he say the glass back scratched easily? I am sure he was referring to the stainless steel which DOES scratch easily. But you will say anything to fit your agenda.I found it funny that after reviewing and so many glass backed phones, that he singled out the iPhone X’s max as a scratch magnet.

In the Verge’s video, the new Face ID was noticeably faster. Perhaps just a split second or two, but they did have a nice side by side comparison and it is very easy to see how it has improved.Someone provide cliffs for those of us at work who can't be watching stupid videos right now: is faceID better in any real measurable way?

So true.iPhone reviews are all the same. Here, let me give you the basic template.
- best iPhone ever
- price will be too much for many
- best performance on the market
- discuss whatever this year’s flashy new gimmick is
- discuss the one annoying thing that many people won’t like, and acknowledge that it is annoying, but say that it’s not a deal breaker (eg. Loss of headphone jack, or the notch)
- Bottom line: if you have last year’s model you don’t need to upgrade. If you have an older model you should.
I was referring to MKBHD. Since he was referring to the glass back show me the quote that said he was or the timestamp of the video. I'll wait. That was marque brown
Except he wasn’t.![]()

"and we can take a second to admire it, as clean and scratch free as it will ever be in its life..." how is that bias? That's true for all phones but because he basically says if you use a new iphone it will get scratches makes him bias...ohhhhkaaay.Go look at the video, just before he removes the plastic from the glass back of the iPhone X’s max.
You can watch the video yourself.
He’s good but he’s an android user so even he’s not subjective.

He uses his phones without a case. It can have all the dlc coat it wants, it's going to scratch easily without a case, especially stainless steel. There is no plastic film over the dlc coated stainless Steel frame.
Have you had a dlc Coated Apple Watch or iPhone?
They don’t scratch easily.
That is true for all phones, except he never mentioned it an any of his other reviews.
Hence bias.
It the same with some pixel users whom derided the notch only to welcome it the one Plus or pixel3.
Sound familiar?
