I like the look of Yosemite but there are several huge bugs that have really impacted my workflow. PDF problems and system slowdowns (resulting from PDFs) being the main one.

bluetooth bluetooth bluetooth

Is virtually worthless on my Mac. I haven't run into the wifi issue, for which I assume I should be grateful. Seems a little slower, but since the filevault finished encrypting, performance actually seems better...

But the total and utter loss of bluetooth is pretty obnoxious. It doesn't seem this is one of Apple's better installs

Yosemite is a DISASTER on my late 2013 13" rMBP. It is incredibly laggy when compared to Mavericks which was a far smoother experience from beginning to end. If the next couple of updates to Yosemite don't fix the jittery GUI experience, this will be the last OSX hardware I purchase for a while.

INDEED, where is the update? Does it take so long?
I do hope they don't try to fix everything in one go.
Fixes per section are most appreciated (and might come sooner).
;JOOP!

P.S.: any proof that Apple people take notice of this thread?

"I like to have my apps maximized so that they take up the entire screen (minus the menu bar at the top) but not "full screen". Looks like I can't do that automatically with Mail anymore. Green button puts it into "full screen" mode when all I want it to do is maximize the app's window."

This is why Apple needs to provide some options in System Preferences.

My clients would love to have the ability to define the default behavior of the Green Zoom button.

I would like to see the following options in System Preferences:

- Maximize for content (Traditional Setting)
- Full Window (Window occupies everything but dock and menu bar)
- Full Screen (The new default setting in Yosemite)

If you agree please Contact Tim Cook and Craig Federighi on Twitter (They are very easy to find)

I had some PDF issues as well. I was downloading some worksheets for my son and they just wouldn't show up in Preview, nor would they print. I had to copy the files on a thumb drive and view/print them on my Windows 8.1 PC of all things.

I'm really unhappy with the whole 3rd party SSD Trim thing. It's not a new issue to OSX, but the changes made to Yosemite can render your system unbootable and you need to enter a bunch of command line stuff to get it back. I wish Apple would just support a native function of the drives without hacks.
