I'm not arguing, I'm agreeing with you that all software has it's issues - what I am saying is that this 10.15 release has issues that are more noticeable and effecting a lot of people than previous OS releases (10.10 excluded!). Users will be happy, but that could be because they don't use the effected parts of the OS.
Very well stated. Myself, I am part of that group which does not use the effected parts of the OS that are causing issues for others. My computer activities are mainly 1) checking EMail, 2) browsing the internet, 3) compose and modify some not so complicated documents and spreadsheets, 4) using Quicken to manage finances, and 5) watching some videos.
I will say, though, that all the software I use is third party, and I make a concentrated effort to keep all of those programs up to date (and especially for compatibility with the version of the Mac OS that I am using, which now is Catalina). I also keep both of my Macs "lean, mean, and clean", and use Oynx and Tech Tool Pro to assist with those (and other) tasks. That of course goes a long way towards minimizing issues, problems, etc.
