You gotta understand memory intensive app such as some photo editing or games will need more RAMs that the system will need to reallocate memory to priority on screen app.

For example, if you run a Geekbench CPU test, most of the apps in background when bringing them to foreground most of those apps will need a refresh.

And taken into consideration, apps do get frequent updates with more added features that may require additional memory to run. iOS can be improved for better RAM management but it may also be hardware limitation 2-3GB RAM on certain devices that’s a reason why Samsung S9 has 6GB RAM.

While true take a look at my entry (#70). For my experience it isn’t the memory intensive - that I would expect. 10.3.3, while not perfect, was better than 11.x. I am unsure of what Apple changed, but change it they did. Tasks I used to perform on my IPP I now do on my PC or MB as I cannot count on the IPP to consistently execute them.

I remember you once mentioned that your 7 plus on 10.3.3 had great RAM management, which was crippled with the iOS 11 update. Back then, I didn't believe you, but after using my old iPhone 5C on iOS 10.3.3, the difference in RAM management was really apparent, and apps stay in memory longer. Now I can relate to what you said back then. Apple definitely changed something about the way iOS handles RAM.

The problem has improved with the 11.3 update, but it still isn't as good as it once was.

I will downgrade my 6S+ to 10.3.3 in a heartbeat if Apple accidentally open their signed window (which they once did) or once a Jailbreak is available. Screw security concerns or battery throttling; I want better RAM management, the old Control Center with toggles that actually turn stuff off, better app opening and closing animations, and no more big ass bold titles within apps!
PLEASE APPLE, HEAR THIS DUDE! PLEASE!

Have two Iphone 7s, one in 10.3.3 and another on 11.3
The 10.3.3 is better IN EVERYTHING!
Performance, battery, ram, design (HATE THIS BOLD ****)

These forums are basically peer-to-peer (as in user-to-user basically) and aren't really a way to contact Apple.
