Both os platforms are now equally as polished. But have their issues which everyone can point out. Where I think apple still has the advantage is the quality of apps vs android. And iTunes of course. But android is catching up very quickly. Would be interesting to see if google play store carried all of the same apps as iTunes App Store. At that pt I think apple would see a significant decline in sales. That App Store and its Eco system is what is keeping apple afloat.

Just like how people praised the Iphone design as one of a kind when it is just another rectangular block that is very similar to all the other rectangular touchscreen phone design out there.

Are viewing angles that important on a phone anymore? I think they are all well past good enough.

I can understand a television that can be adjusted nor can the furniture in the room. But a phone? You just point it right at your face... Maybe if you are showing a group of people a video on your phone. But if that's the case well lets face it the HTC One screen size with stereo speakers are going to make that a more pleasurable experience then a slight difference in viewing angle.

The iPhone has a certain style to it that makes it recognisable to any other touch screen phone out there though. I know its been slated for not pushing towards a new frontal 'look', but its now part of its brand and relates to every iOS device in their range. Whether that is a good or bad thing boils down to personal taste. Popularity hasn't diminished too much because of it however.

I guess everyone didn't hear? The S4 is the fastest selling smartphone EVER...yep, Apple is DOOMED! Next year, Apple will shut down due to stock prices being at $20. They are definitely the new Blackberry! I even heard the iPhone 5S will come in a low-res screen to cut the price to FREE so Apple can outsell the S4!

Did yall hear that as well?

/sarcasm :apple:

Absolutely. It's already too late, people just seem ignorant about using a less capable device. Although... Blackberry, really?

Yup really ;) The hub looks decent, all depends what you ultimately need from a phone I guess. I'm not overly fussed with the camera these days for example, Mail & access to everything quickly...yes
