Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

John Gruber probably got it right.

I doubt they will change screen size, due to the vast amount of apps that is Appstore. Apple don't want to lose that advantage over Palm/Android/HTC; indeed one of the main selling point of the iPad was the already existing Appstore.

lol at the iPhone reassurance this thread's resurrection gave me!

I was a little concerned that iPhone's development may be compromised by iPad's release in the way Mac OS X had a slow period because of the iPhone.
But I suppose iPad and iPhone share an OS, so their frontier can mostly be advanced together.

In 4.0 I won't ask for multitasking, I won't ask for a front-facing camera, but I will BEG for a file structure which Apps can mutually access, and hopefully which can easily be dealt with via USB.
The lack of file liquidity is an enormous headache for me - I daren't think how the iPad claims to be a sufficient productivity device as is.
