Maybe not on that front, but how about their stock? It used to be around $1,500 back in the Galaxy S3 days and now it's only $900.

And it was $1287 this April. Don't feed to much into that. It will probably jump above $1500 next April depending on what they have in store for the S7.

I hope you're not being serious. There is no way the stock can climb more than 50% with one phone, especially since they already played their "premium design" trump card.

So it fell almost $400 after the Galaxy S6 and that doesn't worry you? And it didn't even climb back up after the Galaxy Note 5.

You don't see the obvious pattern? And before the Note 4, Samsung's display was always in question. Now Samsung's display, camera, and overall design is considered to be top notch after this year's release of devices. I'm pretty sure improvements that come with the S7 will possible bring the shares up that high again. And especially since they plan on releasing the S7 plus version along with the S7.

I can see the pattern, but I have to respectfully disagree with your prediction. I don't see Samsung recovering to the levels it used to be back in the Galaxy S3 days because they've already made phones with premium designs and that did not bring the stock back up.

Those premium designs are not even 6 months old. I think you are being quite harsh. The initial revamp/change is not expected to have shares prices skyrocketing. Plus I think the exclusion of micro sd slots and removable battery was highly dramatized. Next wind, that's not even going to be a discussion.

Not harsher than all the "Apple is doomed!" people, even after the iPhone 6's success.

Perhaps you haven't been reading other people's comments in other websites.
Well.....i'm not on other websites right now. I am on MR commenting on MR threads and posts. Perhaps you should limit the discussion to the topics at hand that everyone here is discussing here on this website.

Very well. Do you feel Apple is doomed with 13 million iPhones sold in the opening weekend?

Now people are saying that since the initial launch included China, demand is not as great as last year's could have been if things were the same. That is simply not true, and I would love to see those people comment on the Galaxy S6's initial launch sales. They can't because Samsung only provides units shipped, not sold. And they've yet to disclose how many Galaxy S6's they've sold since the Spring.

nope sorry not going to bring me into that false argument. You make a ton of assumptions and spread false info slanted to your very obvious agenda.

Of course the sales for the 6S are not as high as last year, it's the 'S' model after all. Lots of people including me are locked into a 2 year contract and the new design iPhone is always the more popular. I'm not losing money just to upgrade only a year later. :)

It's true that I'm making a ton of assumptions, but it's funny how you can't defend Samsung for not disclosing any sales figures. Why is that?

I also wouldn't have upgraded if I were locked into a two year contract, but many who are on the iPhone 5s and earlier will, so I believe the sales from Q1 will speak for themselves.

Technically, Apple also does same. Almost every company does that.

"For most of the Company’s product sales, these criteria are met at the time the product is shipped."

Taken from the Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

You not getting it.......I don't WANT to discuss anything with you. You have you mind made up. You have a very specific agenda that is clear to everyone. There is no discussing anything with someone like you with a closed made up mind.

If you didn't want to discuss anything with me, then you wouldn't have posted anything in this thread. I'll admit that it's very obvious that I don't like Samsung, but there is also no discussing with someone like you that does not answer questions because they know there's no evidence that would help them defend Samsung. It's fine, I get it. Just don't come knocking in without expecting a response.

Nope see here more mis direction and falsehood from you. You posted that everyone was saying "Apple was Doomed" yet no one here in this thread said anything like that. Then when called out on your fud your bring up Samsung sales and want to argue.
So if you don't want to get called out in your falsehoods then don't come knocking.

I was discussing Samsung sales with others in this thead, so I believe I'm allowed to continue. You can keep saying falsehoods but you know I make a good point, which is why you have yet to answer. But I don't need your opinion, if you don't want to answer my question that's completely fine, it's not like you're being forced to.

There are a decent number of people on that cycle but it's not the same as the first edition cycle. The buzz is nowhere near the same. Comparisons have to be made between the last S cycle really, not the iPhone 6. If you wish to compare that is. It makes no difference really.

Why do you think Apple is doomed? Apple is actually quite successful with their business model of selling low to mid end devices for a high profit.

I don't think they're doomed. I was joking about the people that say that :)

You bring up all these straw man arguments.

Is it so hard for you to understand that I'm talking about people from other websites saying that? Am I not allowed to do that? Why do you insist on bringing up the same thing over and over?
