I was looking for at least 25% to 30% off, this season. Best I saw in the US was 20% off.

I saw some 25% but it was on $100 cards. Maybe the fall season not winter.

That's just 5¢ on the $1 difference. But yeah 25% off is nice.

Anyone get scammed yet? I've been pretty fortunate so far. The closest call was when I bought a Kingsman HD code that redeemed in SD. I emailed the seller about it but haven't heard from him in 2 weeks. I emailed Fox and they were able to give me a replacement HD copy. Coincidentally the seller got back to me after that apologizing and saying he would give me a discount on a future deal, but at that point I got what I wanted but appreciated his gesture.

I've been lucky with all the transactions that I have done so far.

FYI on the Google group, there is a John P that has Star Wars: The Force Awakens preorder for $12.50. I snagged one and it's legit. It redeems via Vudu, which will connect to iTunes via DMA (Disney Movies Anywhere).

Yeah, John Carmichael has them for $8 (out of stock right now) - not sure if that's the one with points or not.

I figure unless I can find it under $10, I will just wait until it's released. I can get it for $10 with credits.

I've seen a ton of TFA preorders but curious if there is an additional benefit in preordering vs just waiting for the codes to come out? This seems like one of those movies that will flood the market with overwhelming supply vs actual demand.

Not for some of the prices people are selling for. Some have it for $17......I can get that price in iTunes!

I'm not sure I want it in my Vudu account taunting me until spring :p

Anyone finish off the Pixar movies? I am down to my final two, WALL-E and A Bug's Life. I've averaged under $5 a piece for all of them and I'm finding it tough to swallow the $10 that each of these command.

This one comes with DMR points. I wanted to buy it now, so I don't have to worry about it. I'm just being lazy I guess. lol.

Haven't really thought about this but if I download a UV copy to my computer and transfer the 4GB file to my iPhone or iPad, will it play on the Videos app?

So im new to this stuff. Just discovered this thread. How do UV codes work? Since it doesnt work on itunes. Im looking to expand my movie collection on itunes since I got an atv4 for christmas.

UV codes work to redeem UV (UltraViolet) movies.
UV stores movies in a "locker" that you can access via VUDU or Flixster.

Warner Bros. & Sony are exclusively using UV codes with movies. whereas others are giving the Physical Disc buyer a choice between UV or iTunes OR giving both options.

I am not sure of any current App for the AppleTV to view UV. You can use Airplay to get it on the AppleTV

So, like others here I am new to this.

If the film "Edge of Tomorrow' is a WB film, does that mean looking for an iTunes code is pointless, because it will only be available with UV codes???

Anyone pick up anything this week? I'm trying to decide on a good price for The Walk and The Martian. The Walk is pretty pricey and I haven't seen many copies below $6. I picked up The Intern for the wife and ended up paying a little more than I wanted since I got an early release ($6).

Tim Hughes will have Straight Outta Compton, Everest, The Intern and Woodlawn for $4.99 on Monday 1/18.

I haven't gotten many new releases for a bit. Just trying to finish up my D2D stuff....up to 503 in Vudu now.
