I was curious what you guys pay for these? I personally wont go over $4. Unless its Disney, those go for about $7 usually.
I'm browsing mostly through this site: http://ultravioletcinema.com/getuv.php?q=ITUNES that ECJ linked to originally.
It's seeming like it has a good rundown of all that's currently available across various sites with a helpful price comparison.

I've yet to delve into the Google boards route just because I'm hesitant to dive in that deep.

BJMRampage: Woaaah. Thank you. XD I saw your post come up as I was writing this. It's the first generous free offer I've been able to see in time to claim. My deep-seeded guilt issues make me feel kind of bad for denying it from others (did I?), but I really do appreciate it. I haven't seen most of this series, and I'm a fan of creator Jenji Kohan's other series Orange is the New Black. So thank you. :) -- Also I'm not a Showtime subscriber, so I didn't have access to it that way, either.

Some of these sites seem to use a service called Tictail.com for checkout. Is it safe? If paying by Paypal, why do they need my address?

I site like uvcodesandmore.com uses it.

Two or maybe three of the sites I've used have tictail as a checkout system. I haven't used uvcodesandmore, but the other tictail checking out experiences have worked out fine for me. Just seems to be a site that lets people set up their own online shops.
I… do not know why they "need" the shipping address. Might just be that tictail doesn't have an option for shop owners to make it clear their items are digital-delivery-only.

Thanks for sharing this. Bought some movies from couple of site to test out. So far been great. Some sent code instantly and others I'm still waiting for (only been about 1 hour). Has anyone had issue from these sites? I'm just want make sure there not some kind of auto generator hack that gets flagged 2 days later. Thanks

I haven't had a bad experience after dealing with about five stores, so far. And nobody here has seemed to report anything negative. I did have to wait about a day for one code to arrive, but dude sent a nice apology and it wasn't a big deal.

Good to hear! These are great deals so being a little cautious. If works out/legit I'll be add more movies to my collection soon and just in time for my new Apple TV.

This may have been answered before, but why are iTunes codes so cheap compared to UV? Don't get me wrong, this is an AMAZING thing! I'm just so used to paying a premium on ANYTHING Apple related.

Because the only devices iTunes codes work on is Apple devices. An Ultraviolet code syncs to a ton of services and those services are available on pretty much any platform or device. Google Play codes are even cheaper than iTunes because how many devices, especially ones that connect to your TV, can play Google Play titles?

It's probably also a factor that Ultraviolet is the default, and in many cases only, digital copy option studios provide. When iTunes is provided it's typically in addition to Ultraviolet and not instead of it and so a seller is able to sell the code twice and isn't as concerned with making as much.

Say a movie like Ant-Man comes out next month, how long will it take before codes are available and what is the going price for a movie hot off the press? Is it generally $3 like Jurassic World?

Since Ant Man is a Disney movie it'll probably start at 9.99. Codes will probably start the day it comes out. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm finding out the best place to get really good deals on iTunes specific downloads are at The Google+ forums. It's work to constantly keep up with what's available and the whole HO situation But well worth it.

Staples has 20% off iTunes Gift Cards:
http://www.staples.com/itunes/direc...c!_26!Entertainment_22&sr=true&sby=&min=&max=

Hopefully that link works.

FYI:
Sony and Warner Bros are exclusively UV codes
Universal and Disney are UV & iTunes
Fox is UV OR iTunes

** I can't remember the rest. Lionsgate is usually UV (but some really big stuff gets an iTunes code)

Isn't Man of Steel a Warner Bros movie? And isn't Spider-Man Sony? You can buy both movies on iTunes.

WB and Sony are big into the UV Consortum. As such they do NOT offer digital codes for iTunes anymore.

However, they aren't willing to neglect the iTunes user. It just means you can only buy an iTunes movie of the above studios via iTunes. No codes. And many of the WB and Sony titles include iTunes Extras.

As for AntMan pricing. I see it being $7-8 first week but also think it could be a common code as many will buy a Marvel movie. Aladdin has been $4-5 up to $8 on bluray.com forums.

FYI Here is the breakdown of the terms.

DMA = Disney Movies Anywhere (the movies connect to iTunes, UV, VUDU, Amazon, Google and Microsoft movies sites)
DMR = Disney Movie Rewards ( You get points for redeeming disney movies to be user for other movies or items)
DC+ = Digital Copy Plus (Just the Disney movie, not the points)
XML = A workaround need for this code, SD only except for Disney movies
UV = Ultra Violet codes, won't work with iTunes
HO = Send user a Hang Out Chat

Trying to understand the codes:

DMA = you redeem from within iTunes for example. The movie is then added to your DMA account
DMR = don't understand this one. Are you getting the movie AND points? Where do you redeem?
DC+ = this is just the movie that you redeem on the DC+ site and download in iTunes for example. And because iTunes is connected to DMA account, it will show up there as well.

The sites I've used tend to follow this:
DMA=movie with points
DMR=points only
DC+=movie only

Some people will sell DMR points from DVDs. You can redeem these for points. But can only add it once. Ex: you Cars on DVD and got points. You can't buy DMR points for Card DVD and add again. You can with Cars Bluray And get points and you can with Cars 2 DVD.

If you use a DC+ or XML for Disney you don't get points. But you could buy DMR or even a DMA code later and get points - you don't get two movies but you will get points.

Not sure if that cleared things up any.

Thanks....this helped. This is all completely new to me, but fascinating!

So basically most these people have purchased the Blu-Ray of these movies and are selling the digital copy and keeping the physical copy?

One reason is that Ultra Violet codes are available for more movies and there are more people using UV than iTunes. Just supply and demand. For example, there is not a iTunes code for San Andreas, Pixels or Vacation.

Sounds like it to me.
