Went to 10.3 beta since my 7+ isn't supported anyway and have to say I'm happier with this phone than I have been with iPhone for a long time. Wouldn't give up this experience even if I could jailbreak. Back to hoping for a current jailbreak!
I did that too, 10.3 is a huge improvement over 10.2.1 or 10.2. I don't know what the chances of 10.3 being jailbroken because Apple changed the file format system.

What I can tell u guys right now is. Go a head and update 10.2.1 and download 10.2 ipw and downgrade it. Stay on 10.2 if u want to jailbreak

I think you can jailbreak 10.1.1 on the iPhone 7(+). I upgraded to 10.2 so no jailbreak for me currently. :p

But I am reading that Jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1 is very buggy and it may risk myself to restore and update to 10.2.1. Then I will be trapped.

You can update to 10.2 if you do it now. There might be a jailbreak for that. The exploit exists in 10.2 but not 10.2.1.

You don't need to update to iOS 10.2.1 first. You can go straight to iOS 10.2 as long as its still being signed.

It might be released for the iPhone 7 and 7 plus. No guarantee. 10.2 will stop being signed soon, probably within the next week.

Still confusing.

Should I jailbreak now to see how stable jailbreak for iOS 10.1.1 is and then upgrade to 10.2 before it stops being signed?

By the way I read about saving blobs. Is that any use for me if I save the blobs for my phone? Currently on iOS 10.1.1

Yup, you should jailbreak 10.1.1 and see how it is. If you like it, stay on it.

You should always save your blobs, but if you try to save it now, you won't be able to get your 10.1.1 blobs because Apple doesn't sign it anymore.

It's believed that a tool will be released in the near future that will allow you to restore to a firmware that apple isn't signing if you have your blobs saved. It's not compatible with the 7 yet.

So if I save my blobs for iOS 10.1.1 I can hope to downgrade to 10.1.1 later once the tool is released and iPhone 7 Plus is supported?

So I better save the blobs now for iOS 10.1.1, right?

You won't be able to save the blobs for 10.1.1 even if you're on it. Apple isn't signing it anymore.

I see. So it is only useful if I update to 10.2 and then save the blobs while Apple is still signing 10.2? Then later when it is not longer signed I can still downgrade to iOS 10.2 from 10.2.1 or 10.3?

How is 10.3? Seems people are saying it's really fast and smooth?

Yup, that's correct.

Understood.

Now if I jailbreak on 10.1.1 and if I don't find it stable, I just flash the 10.2 firmament (while it is still being signed) and the it is okay? The jailbreak won't be there anymore. Do I have to uninstall all tweaks and delete jailbreak took first before flashing 10.2?

Yup just download the firmware and restore through iTunes. I strongly recommend making a backup of your phone right now before jail breaking. You don't have to uninstall the tweaks if you want to restore to 10.2, it will wipe your phone. If you make the backup now, you can restore from the backup later on so all your apps and settings will be there.
