I'm shooting for the 10.2 jb though.
What if iOS 10.2 is no longer signed by Apple when the jailbreak is released for your phone?

Just sitting on my hands waiting for 6 Plus support lol.![]()
You don't need to update to iOS 10.2.1 first. You can go straight to iOS 10.2 as long as its still being signed.
They say the 6+ jailbreak method will work the same as the 6. We just have to wait since we're an old model. No one seems to be able to confirm or deny that 6 plus can be jailbroken on 10.2 I upgraded to 10.2 thinking that the 6 plus would obviously work. I have not tried it yet, but on this forum I've seen people both say it works and that it does not work. So I'm with you... just waiting on 10.2 on iPhone 6 Plus until someone can actually confirm if it works or not.
woohoo, im going to wait for iclarified to make the ipa though.
Btw with semi-tethered - if phone restarts I can still use it right? and just open yalu to re-jailbreak essentially?
Restoring my 6s+ to stock 10.2 and, then, installing beta3. (Albeit the alpha ran just fine on the phone.) Will report back.
Hi guys. I'm on 10.0 ip7, should I upgrade to 10.2 or better stay with my current version?
iPhone 6 plus with iOS9 is kinda sluggish, anyone recommend going for 10.2 and killing animations with jailbreak? Would this be better for an iPhone 6 plus?

Stay, but save those iOS 10.2 SHSH blobs while you can for when things stabilize in the iOS 10 jailbreaking world.
How do I save my iPhone 6 9.0.2 on iOS 10.2 SHSH blobs?
