Just took off The BSE clear skin. It left a lot of sticky residue on my Jet Black. I'm still cleaning it with alcohol wipes. The slickwrap came off cleaner but I didn't have it on as long as thE BSE. I will be putting on my 3rd skin this weekend the ArmorSuit. 9.99 on amazon.
I will see how it looks compared to the BSE and Slickwrap. Then buy a few of the one I like the best.

I've read some other people have issues with the BSE leaving glue/residue when taken off. My order came for my JB 7+ but kinda hesitant to put it on now.

It didn't hurt the Jet Black finish but it took a few minutes and a few alcohol wipes to get it off. SlickWraps skin will pull right off no gook leftover.

Not sure if this is an issue with all skin wraps but I ordered the full body glossy for my Jet Black iPhone from BestSkinsEver.

After two days, I wasn't happy with the look, so I removed it.

To my shock, the skin actually lifted the text a little where the "iPhone" label is on the back of the phone leaving an imprint on the skin itself. Now the first half of the word is more faint then the remaining letters. It actually is ruining the finish for some reason.

There are other threads confirming this.

Oh really!!! Is this specific to Jet Black colour only? I've got a BSE on my matte black, I'll not be happy at all if it's does that. A little nervous now..

Just pulled off my ArmorSuit clear skin off my Jet Black Plus. No damage. After using the BSE,SlickWrap and now ArmorSuit. I believe ArmorSuit is the best. It did not leave any residue. It was the easiest skin to put on. It had the full speaker cut out. The corners can be cut so no problems with using my Apple case. And it's 9.99

Why did you take it off then in the end?

Decided to move from a 128 to a 256 so I pulled off my Zagg that I got installed at my local mall. The iPhone lettering on the back was visible on the skin.

My personal opinion is it's not a big deal and I'd rather have to writing off anyways.

I'll take a pic and upload soon.

I have been trying different skins out so far to see which one I liked the best. After reading that a user of the BSE skin posted above. Had issues with the color or print coming off the back of their Jet Black iPhone. I wanted to pull of the Armor Suit to see if I had any problems like that. Also to see if it left a sticky residue like the BSE did. The ArmorSuit past the test so far.

Went ahead and pulled my BSE off just to check, yep it to had very little of the label printing on the back of the phone.. not much but I can see it on the label itself and it's not an indication because it's colored. It's faint but it's there.. so i'll just go without a back shield now.. unless armorsuit really is worth the effort.

I ordered from Slickwraps on the 25th of September and haven't received it yet. Now I am in a PayPal dispute with them. Otherwise, I have been stuck with a Apple leather case which is great but still a little bulky.

Hey guys ive been reading all your posts and ive received my bse today and will be installing later tonight if I have time. And of course will post pictures. That's exactly why I made an account to chime in for more details since you guys have done it for me :)

Also have Slickwraps and armor suit coming in as well.

I'm very anal with my devices to keep clean and this is my first iPhone ( iPhone 7 plus 256gb jet black). Ive been seeing that (the guy from YouTube too) people are talking about the letters coming off the phone onto the skin? How ridiculous is that? Well I think I'm gonna try something tonight about this.

So this is just me theory so far but I don't plan on using my phone naked just with a clear wrap. Plain stupid I'm sorry I'm not that type of a person. So with that being said I do plan on using a case with the wrap. And my solution is since I personally won't be seeing the back of the phone (since it'll be covered with my apple silicone case) I was planning on applying a very thin very small layer of Vaseline or chap stick (oil based not harsh) and apply on the damn letters and then apply the wrap.

What do you all think? :)

Why install a skin if you're always going to use a case?

Your phone can still get scratched in a case. And the skin itself won't protect from drops.

It's really for OCD people like me and a few others here. We like things to look brand new.

Gotcha. Are you taking any steps to shield the camera bump also? Since none of the skins extend to that part afaik.

I have the iPhone 7 Plus JB. I ordered the slick wraps gloss, because they have a deal going where they ship an extra skin and a glass screen protector. It took 14 days to ship the darn thing (Live in Michigan) and when it arrived today, the screen protector was cracked. So far unhappy. I'll be applying the gloss wrap sometime tomorrow, but I want to get a screen protector first.

Anyone have a clue how to contact Slickwraps to get a replacement screen protector? No phone numbers on their website and no actual way I can find to submit a request that works. The request option they provide doesn't work as in no way to actually submit the request.

Does this work?

hmm. good question. I swear I saw one skin layout that showed it covering the camera hump. I don't think it was BSE, Slickwraps or Armorsuit.

I was planning on keeping it in a case, so I always thought that I wouldn't have to worry about that. But you are right, even in a case that will probably be exposed to debris and rubbing from the pocket.
