BSE was really prompt with my order. I also happened to order one for the regular 7 by mistake and they sent me a replacement for the Seven Plus for no charge. Now if only I can figure out a place in NYC that'll apply the skin for me for a small fee. Anyone knows of such a place??? I am really bad at applying them on my own.

Ordered BSE per the recommendations on this thread. It arrived in the mail 3 days after ordering it (I live in San Francisco). Followed the installation process exactly as described on their website and it seems perfect on my iPhone7 Jet Black. Happy to have seen this thread!

Thanks!

Will a BSE case friendly (basically without sides think) cover, fit fine without damaging the BSE in an Apple silicone case? and also what about one with the sides?

Also in the past think you were supposed to switch off iPhone, fit BSE, then leave off overnight. Does this matter now with iPhone 7 being waterproof?

Thanks.

Can anyone recommend one of those booths typically found in the mall to install a skin on a JB. I'm thinking me trying it myself will end horribly.

Got my BSE and ArmorSuit today Both are glossy. I took off the slickwrap a couple of days ago. Already see some micro scratches under bright desk light. Unable to see any wear or scratches under normal room lighting.
The BSE was easy to put on and it doesn't cover the speaker grill as good as the SlickWrap. I also notice the sides of the slick wrap cover a little bit more too. But the BSE looks darn good. These pic's are a couple of hours after install. In the morning I'm hoping the small bubbles disappear.

Scratches in the skin? Or the phone?

iPhone. They are very fine. I could only see them under a very bright desk LED desk lamp. I believe they happened after I pulled the first skin off.

Did you get them from applying/removing the skin? Or from normal use after you removed the skin when the phone was naked

I am the exact same way. Just don't trust myself into doing it. I am so OCD. I walked into an independent cell phone store here in New York. They install other third party skins on phones and laptops. I took my BSE packet and had to sweet talk them in to agreeing to put it on my Jet Black 7 Plus. They agreed. :) I offered to pay them but they just asked me to leave a good Yelp review. Phone looks really good! Far better job than I could have done.

I don't know. I had the skin off for a couple of days. Didn't see any micro scratches. Only when I went to apply another skin. Is the time I saw them. They are not noticeable by just looking at them under normal room lighting.

Pretty sure they were there before.. how it would be possible for a skin to produce scratches?? :/

Finally got my BSE installed. Miles ahead of SlickWraps which had poor material and cutouts. It looks terrible right now because it's curing, but installation couldn't be easier. Big ups to BSE!

Congrats. I believe it's the same material used for all of these wraps and skins. I couldn't tell the difference. I have BSE , SlickWrap , and ArmorSuit.

Problem is BSE doesn't even try to get around the speaker holes and lightening port. They just make generalized cutouts around those sections.

I applied a BSE on my girlfriends jet black and it looks good. It was the first skin I had applied in like 6 years so it took forever and I'm certain I could do a better job if I did it again.

Then I applied a Slickwraps Naked on my jet black 7 plus and the corner flaps overlapped the top and bottom folded part and if I forced it to not over lap then it creased. I tried heating the corners over an over but couldn't get a good fit. I tore that wrap off and tried the second wrap in the pack and the corner pieces were still too long. I took out some very sharp scissors and cut the absolutely tiniest piece off and that solved the over lap problem. However, either from the cut or possibly just the fit, the seam of the corners are still visible to me. I'm not sure that I'm annoyed enough to try again but if the corners start to peel up at all then I will. If I hand my phone to someone to look at they don't notice a skin at all unless I say look at the corners. Besides the corners, I like the cutouts and precision of the Slickwraps over the BSE.

That's been my experience thus far. Not a single micro scratch or anything on the phone but I only wipe it with the micro fiber cloth from my sunglasses before putting on the new skin and have not used it without a skin. The skin does a great job of not showing finger prints and smudges compared to the natural jet black finish.

I tried to use slickwrap today since they finally got to me, however it was a bad cutout because the corners were overlapping like the ones mentioned above. Gonna try BSE in a couple days when my replacement arrive, does anyone know if I can use the naked juice from slickwrap for BSE?

BSE has said to me that they tried to balance precision cutouts with having an allowance for application so the majority of people can put their skin on easily and error free. I can attest that is definitely the case. If you lineup the camera/flash cutouts up top and the lightning port on the bottom the rest falls into place and fits well. I had no trouble with their corners either. For friends that want a good looking skin and haven't put one on before I recommend BSE for that reason.

I ended up cutting the corner flap pieces of the bottom off my BSE. They were coming of my SlickWrap and on my BSE. When I put a case on my phone for work. Now no problems with it at all. I guess it's trial and error. With the install process. The next one I put on. I will precut the flaps off before install.

Yes you can use the Naked Juice on the BSE or if you're out of Naked Juice you can reuse that sprayer and fill it with water and a single tiny drop of dish soap.

Looking at your pictures blown up on my computer screen I can't tell that you cut the flaps off, or did you do it after you took those pictures?

It's just soap and water. Nothing special that I noticed.

I cut them off today. When I pulled off my Apple case one of the corners had peeled back at the bottom. I tried to lay it back down like I tried with my SlickWrap. Then I said F it. Made the cut.
[doublepost=1475548796][/doublepost]I think you would have to scratch the JB pretty good to see it. My wife still can't see my micro scratches. Even with me pointing them out under a light. Only daddy know's his baby. Lol
