I actually ordered today in the morning around nine Eastern time and they canceled the order an hour after since they have no stock so this could be a website error
 
I had to call and talk to Verizon Internet Sales, but they are on their way. Will be here by 4:30 today, FedEx. I still could not get my tracking from the Internet site or my confirmation email. The rep had to email it all to me! Once I get it, I will cancel my Apple order! Cheers!
 
Ordered last night at 10:56 PM EST, just had them arrive at 11:02 AM EST here in Indiana. Also had an order from Best Buy that will arrive on Thursday that just got tracking numbers.

Kudos to Verizon and FEDEX, almost less than 12 hours from warehouse to me, sure beats 6 weeks from Apple.
 
so a little update. I was the one that ordered prior to starting the thread. I placed the order around 7:30pm eastern time. I ordered two pairs, regular free 2-day shipping. Said the order would ship on 19th, till right now order has been processing. Just checked a minute ago and it has shipped today with overnight delivery scheduled for tomorrow. So rest assured if your credit card shows a pending charge, everything went through fine.
 
OK I got clarification on the matter my order has not been canceled it's waiting for AirPods to arrive so they could allocate the AirPods to my order since they were out of stock when they order entered.
 
I ordered a second pair this morning at 9am Eastern with overnight shipping. It has already shipped and Verizon wasn't able to cancel it before FedEx picked it up. I guess I have two pairs coming now.

So, so far one person with 2-day shipping has gotten a tracking number? I'm hoping... but now I wish I'd done overnight instead. We'll see what happens, there are a lot of hours left in today. :)

On the phone with Verizon right now regarding my free 2-day order from yesterday that I still can't pull up online. They're saying "it says the payment is null - I don't know if this order went through."

I see an authorization on my card and I had zero problems. They told me the order was "completed" yesterday. What a mess. Not sure why I ever thought it was a good idea to order these from Verizon - never experienced an online store quite like this, where once an order is placed you can't even look it up.

According to FedEx, the label was created at 9:40am Eastern, and subsequently picked up at 9:58. I really don't want to bother selling it, so they recommended refusing the package upon delivery; that'll send the product back to them and it will be processed as a return.

As for the AirPods I ordered last night at 8:55 am Eastern, the label was created at 9:11am today.

thats fine, if you ordered yesterday and your card shows pending charge - all is most likely well. Just for record I ordered something else 5 mins before hand and thats still processing as well.

i just called too and she said my order was completed but website does not reflect that bc warehouse was closed last night when i ordered. said we should all receive email notifications regarding shipment by the evening EST time

The final word, insofar as it counts as anything substantial: My order shipped and will arrive tomorrow. However, they don't have any tracking information that they can provide to me. What a mess.

This would be very useful had I been assigned a location number - and I was not. Everyone at Verizon sounds puzzled by this order.

Ordered today 9:11 am time from confirmation email, and received a email saying out of stock at 10:30 AM. Waiting to see if they receive stock during the day so they ship tonight hopefully.
