Does your iMac display suffer from image persistence?

I'm pretty confident that every iMac has the issue
I disagree, its hard to draw such a conclusion based on a tiny subset of users experiencing. Generalized statements that every iMac has it, just doesn't hold water.

While I empathize for those who have it, and had to deal with with the issue multiple times, that doesn't necessarily mean its a problem that occurs on 100% of iMacs.

I don't think that high temperatures are the cause of image retention. in the early MacBooks equipped with retina LCD panels, there's no substantial source for heat in the display. and these had really bad image retention issues... my iMac runs cool and my LCDisplay has image retention since the beginning. I wouldn't have noticed it if I wouldn't use "Solid Gray Pro Dark" as my desktop.
