navy sports side.jpg navy front.jpg I ordered the 38 MM Moko Midnight Blue sports band - I got it in earlier this week - here's the pic. It looks great with the SS watch I think.....nice alternative to black.

Cheers,

I just received this today from battery_sky on eBay. The quality is pretty good...I just wish the adapters were a bit shorter...band slips ever so slightly on bars, other than that, I really like this one! The leather quality is nice & you can choose S/M or M/L band, along with the size of your watch, 38mm or 42mm - so there is no long overhang of band under the keeper.

Well if you get it and don't want to keep it, I'll be happy to buy it from you!
I was actually hoping to just get it and send one to you but now the seller emailed me saying they don't have them in stock for the brown and the black and it'll be a long time before they have more. I wonder if the 42mm would be too wide for 38mm adapters since in some cases you can make 42mm bands work with 38mm logs but since it's wood, that'd be harder to do. I'll be checking on Aliexpress to see if there's an alternative one.
I really liked both brown and black and my son really likes the black one for his watch but that's a no go. Seller refunded me which was actually pretty stand up from them considering the bunch of crocks from China on eBay.

Battery Sky is actually a really good trusted seller. I've purchased at least 10 leather loops to gift to friends and they ship fast and service comes without a hiccup! You won't be disappointed.

Also I went ahead and ordered all the pastel colors for the Sports from Amazon. Found them for about $20 a piece so I've got about 10 bands in S/M which are supposed to be the same color as Apple's new line. Should be here by the end of next week so I'll give you all an update when they arrive. I was hesitating at first but what the heck. Buy 10 for the price of 4, not too shabby.

They really needed to make the strap wider where they met the adapter's bars, or change the adapter's design. Are the bars actually narrower on the real Apple Watch Hermès? I couldn't really tell from the pics. Is your Watch a 38mm or 42mm?

My watch is 38mm. The straps are 20mm @ the adapter, narrowing to 17mm @ the buckle. This is the same as the actual Hermès strap. The difference is the adapter. The OEM adapter (lugs) are indeed narrower than any non-OEM adapter I have purchased, whether purchased individually or on a non-OEM band. I have been frustrated by this because the OEM lugs are very difficult to remove for use with another band. I have tried a pentalob screwdriver, as is recommended. My husband finally had to "grind" the tip of the screwdriver down to remove the screws, with much difficulty. Of course then we had to use new screws (extras that came with other non-OEM adapters). I "chatted" online with an Apple representative a couple of days ago to see if I could purchase OEM lugs (the representative said that is what Apple calls them). These are not available for purchase at this time.

A company called Avnet is now authorized by Apple to sell these OEM adapters, but at a very high cost - Price Per Set: $11.15 USD (which seems reasonable), but they are sold only in packages of 25 Sets at a Package Price of $278.75 USD. So until OEM lugs are sold individually, I suppose I'll have to accept the straps being a bit narrow on the bar.

How is the fit? Does the wrap part of the strap stay in place? You know the issue I have with the band going under the watch :(.
Thanks!

Maybe we could get a few people together and share the cost? Just an idea ...

I have had no issues with the wrap slipping under the watch yet! The fit is nice - I got the S/M.

I would be game for this....but I don't know how the logistics would work...also when I tried to order just the screwdriver, I noticed that Avnet asks for a company name for billing - they don't deal with credit cards. That shut my order down!

I like it. The leather is quite good quality - of course that means it is very thick. I split time between Hawaii and LA (where it had been unseasonably hot the past month) so in sticky heat it is not very comfortable, and I prefer the lighter Milanese or Sport bands. But it is very well made and I highly recommend him...I just need to wear it on less humid days. :)

I am also in LA and it has been so hot for the past month. Hot today as well. Anyway was just wondering as I wore my aqua band this week and I love how unique it is.

Hi Ladies!
Sorry for the delay in any new posts
I got the Apple new colors for the Sports. I'm in love!
The quality is amazing for being $25, and they don't feel much different than my Apple OEM ones. Maybe a mm thinner but other than that, totally worth it. I may have to get the elusive yellow one from Moko as well. I wanted to get these out of the way first and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to attach to my AW first.
Also, I pre-ordered iPad Pro so I'm pretty stoked!!!
Here's a couple up close photos.

I'd have to make do with lime green and orange!
I'm waiting on the Lime green because they didn't have it available with the yellow one and the pink when I ordered so it's coming from China. The moment it gets here give or take around Thanksgiving, let me know which combos you want to see or if you want to see them on the watch each combo with each band so that's about 100 combinations for 10 bands thus far. :) I'll be happy to provide some long needed amusement. :p

If you fixed one colour at one end, you'd have nine different ones at the other end, so 9 combinations. Multiply that by 10 colours you'd get 90. I'm sure some would work better than others.

I might wear my green/orange tomorrow. :D

Can't wait to see it :).
Here you go - it came in on Thursday so took one week. I think it actually looks better than I thought it would given how small my wrist is....my only complaint is that it's more difficult to put on but I'm sure I will get the hang of that soon. It's worth the 21 bucks I paid on eBay. I got the black one - I definitely think I will invest in the red soon.

Cheers,
Bobbie
