Very light pink. The modern buckle snaps together just like the real thing. I did have to put it on the last hole though, so it's meant for small wrists.

At some point I will probably try to swap out th elugs for grey ones, otherwise, it's really nice.

Nice!
I have the black modern buckle but have been on the lookout for gold hardware.

Nice! I have both of the casemate edged leather bands and I love the colors. I wish they were better quality leather but the color schemes are great.

Has anyone tried these glitter bands from eBay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hot-Bling-Luxury-Glitter-Leather-Strap-Band-Belt-Adapter-For-Apple-Watch-38-42mm/161857516882?_trksid=p2141725.c100338.m3726&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=20150313114020&meid=7cb3ee1f10c2439483827fefff28dc4e&pid=100338&rk=9&rkt=15&sd=262209399916

I'm always on the hunt for fun going-out bands, but worry this one would look TOO glittery/tacky or that the glitter would fall off...

I got a couple of great ladies' bands today!

FIRST BAND:
http://www.amazon.com/Wearlizer-Gen...w_p_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=11RCFCNJEAW1AW9EQZ3C

IMG_3647.JPG

The color on this one is absolutely spectacular. I adore the turquoise. It's vibrant and it's the perfect accent color. The leather feels good, but it's a bit fragile. Right out of the box, there were some signs of wear around the leather ring holding the strap down:

IMG_3623.JPG

It seems like it would tear if it rubbed up against something too rough. In fact, I experienced a bit of tearing around the adapter as I was changing the adapters out. WHY was I changing the adapters out, you ask?

Well, the adapters are terrible spring-based adapters that came apart within a few SECONDS of inserting each band into the watch. I had extra rose gold adapters that I swapped in and no more issues.

IMG_3626.JPG

The band costs $15, and for any more than that it wouldn't be worthwhile. Also, if you're not as completely gobsmacked by the gorgeous turquoise color as I am, it may not be worth it. At the current price point, I think the color is fantastic and the quality trade-off is acceptable to me.

IMG_3638.JPG
IMG_3642.JPG

SECOND BAND:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop

IMG_3634.JPG

I love the gold filigree pattern on this band. It seems fancy and shimmery but not over-the top. I was pleased with the feel of the leather. It's thin but it feels like it could hold up to some every day abuse/wear-and-tear. The material itself feels like actual leather and not that papery-feeling fake stuff from other cheap bands.

I also like that the clasp is somewhat flat, so it doesn't get in the way while typing.

IMG_3633.JPG

Overall, this is a pretty band, good for a night out, that seems like good quality, especially at a <$25 price point!

Just clicked the link for the first band. Do you think the white or gray one will hold up? My white sport band picks up dirt a bit easy.

My guess is that they are all the same material. I don't think the watch strap is very durable, although it looks fabulous. I may also have gotten unlucky or been too rough with the strap while changing the adapters. Some of it is a personal assessment --- if you had to replace the strap after two or three months of continuous wear, would you still feel it was worth $15?

I'll definitely update if it degrades over time!

I ordered a Hot Pink sports band from China off ebay (seller Bessky) on 1/14, paid a little bit extra ($1.49) for ePacket mailing for tracking through USPS and was shocked to see it had arrived and left San Francisco yesterday. Arrived today. I do like the color. Kind of a fluorescent pink and like other silicon bands people have commented on, it is lighter in weight and thickness and does seem to be a dust/hair magnet. The fit's not bad, feels secure in the channel. Not all the ends are flush with the watch base but not too bad. For $4.98 it will be a nice color option on occasion. I will probably order the gray they have.

Here's the band on my 42mm AW. BTW the band doesn't come in 2 sizes. This is the equivalent to the S/M of Apples. I usually wear Apple's M/L sport band (like having more strap underneath) and hadn't thought about that when I bought this. I'm on the 2nd to last hole and it seems fine.

Qqueenie, I really like that second band. The texture and pattern are interesting. Like the color choices too. I have a 42mm so the double tour would be out for me. The buckle and adapter type are the type on Apple's classic band.

I see that they ask you to tighten the screws in the adapter. Do they tell you to use a threadlocker on it? Kind of wonder if by you securing it that puts the onus on you should the band come off. Hopefully anyone here on Macrumors knows about using a threadlocker like Loctite on this type band.

I bought my girlfriend two of these bands, the white and the jade green. I used loctite on the adapters before she even started wearing them. No issues so far and it has been a couple of weeks. The bands are very pretty and seem to be good quality.

Caromsoft, any chance your girlfriend would be willing to pose her wrist for a few photos with the bands on? And good to hear you also thought the band quality was decent. Appreciate the feedback.

They didn't mention a thread locker! I replaced their stock adapters with my own rose gold ones anyway, but I've heard good things about loctite...

I was just on a thread about Pen and Quill's wooden travel watch kit, which wasn't me, but while looking at there site found they had a Classic leather watch band they offer that I REALLY like and will likely order. Can't decide yet between the Deep Blue or the French Gray. Scroll through their watch photos (across from the Leather and Watch Size choices for photos of the band and some on models wearing them. Nice to see they are hand made here in the U.S. too. Looks like a very comfortable every day leather watch band.

I have the British Tan band from them (before they offered the other colors - I would probably buy the french gray now). It is a very nice band. The leather is like a baseball glove. It does start a little stiff, but seems to break in nicely. Its a little tough to get the buckle on and off sometimes with the thick leather - I am thinking about getting a deployment buckle for mine.

Thanks for commenting. Good to know your experience with them. Is your British Tan in the same band as this or one of their others? You mentioned yours being thick and the one above I mentioned is their slimmer/thinner band. I have a few thick bands (5mm I think) and can see why a deployment is used on the thicker ones. One of the reasons I really do love my Apple Classic Band (1st version) alot -- Super light and comfortable. Without the stitching I think it looks more dressy.

However I'm a blue jeans girl most of the time so the deep blue has appeal to me for that reason, and the stitching lends more of the casual weekend look to it. I am really attracted to the gray brown of the French gray. I do have a brown suede-like band now so leaning more towards the blue and my Midnight blue sports band is different enough from it. I think all 4 colors are nice shades depending on what you are wearing. Think I will call them on Monday and see if they are shipping yet.

I'd rather wear gray with blue...otherwise you'll either be too matchy-matchy or the different shades of blue will look off. But you should get the shade that speaks to you!

Just in case anybody else was looking, I've tracked that cool geometrical strap down. It's called "Wonhot" in this original post, but it's now being called "Kaleidoscope".

On another note, has anyone noticed these printed Leather Hoco Bands on eBay? I know I'm on a short leash but; I've saved the link so that I can have something festive comes Nov- Thanksgiving-December and I can order the last one (being the green and red one) but I also like the bohemian look.

Broadbean I like the rather bold, yet still toned down, colors of the bands. I personally like when two layers of strap are glued and sealed at the edge which these don't appear to be. No seller feedback. Suppose you do get eBay protection should you not receive. If you do decide to buy, keep close tabs on any windows for claims. I've never made a purchase from S Korea and have to admit even with ebay involved I'm still a bit leery to buy from overseas and try to find stuff locally.

Nice "ad" setup though what with color coordinating the bands with various watch faces and face colors. Does grab your attention in a positive way.

I mentioned back on the 15th that I ordered a camo watch band off ebay (link to band there). It arrived yesterday. I like it. It's thin and lightweight, figure it will be nice during the warmer months. It's a synthetic textured leather material since it's printed. Will wear it occasionally so OK with it. The printing on the upper side of the band has a slight tacky feel to the surface of it but seems like a nice quality job. The packaging says designed in the UK and manufactured in the Philippines. Interestingly the packaging was intended for one of their other products (a watch case cover I think based on the text) and given a customized interior foam lining fit for the band.

As you can tell from the band it's nearly the same size as Apple's Classic leather so if that fits you this one will too. I probably will put it on a spring pin adapter but didn't have one so temporary am showing it with the classic adapter.

IMG_4937.jpg IMG_4940.jpg IMG_4941.jpg

Just noticed I hadn't posted my ebay info previous so here it is. I like that they give you the option of buying the band with or without the classic style adapter.
