@TraceyS/FL Have you considered a leather loop or Milanese, where there is no buckle?
I don't really like the Apple leather one - but I'm going to look again at the store today while kid 1 buys her phone. I had a knock off Milanese loop on my amazon wishlist... But then started reading reviews.

I'm on a budget, so it might have to wait a bit. I might see what Apple does at the event before buying anything else. But the buckle-less ones hold a lot of appeal for reasons I didn't know until I wore it.

Don't limit yourself to the high priced Apple offerings. A lot of what you read in reviews are about some really nitpicky stuff, like "the lug sticks out .02mm on the left." I always wonder if these people have actually measured it.

I have been really happy with my knockoff leather loop (which I wear 80% of the time). For about $30 average, it's worth trying. (Unless you're one of those who will notice .02mm.)

Hmmmm.... I can level pictures without a level.... LOL

I will look at them again - i'll scroll back to see which one you have. I was really worried about the, "I was walking along and the magnet failed and my watch fell to the ground." reviews, then the cosmetic aspect. Thankfully I'm not a fashionable person! LOL (Old navy tee, jeans, tennis shoes is me, until summer - then sub in shorts... no jewelry or makeup either! :p )

Yes, my watch originally came with the white sports band. I switch bands depending on what I'm wearing

I ordered the Rose Gold AW with the lavender band (38mm) but I don't know if I want to keep it. Seeing everyone else watches makes me feel conflicted about my choice of watch. I wanted the 42mm but it wasn't in stock in the Rose Gold now I don't know if I want the Gold or the Sliver in 42mm

I'm really wanting the 38 mm SS watch after seeing everyone's posts. I know exactly how you feel⌚️

Initially, I thought I was pretty sure I was going to get the Gold and Midnight Blue combo. Then I found out about the stainless models.

Now that I've had mine for a while and Apple is apparently going to let you sync 2 to one phone, I'm still considering a gold, rose gold or regular SS....

Me too but I can't help but wonder if the edges scratches easily. I think I still want the 42" I have a Rose Gold 6s Plus and wanted the Rose Gold Apple Watch but the gold with the blue band looks really nice.

Got the gold 6s Plus. That's why I was looking for the gold watch, plus I've got a lot of clothing that goes with the midnight blue color.

I first had a space gray sport model and now I have the SS model, because I like that one better. I also read about it scratching so easily but I can confirm that this doesn't happen easily. Where I wore a protective case on my sport watch, my SS goes "naked" and I have no scratches at all. And I am really OCD about scratches etc.

Same here! Decisions, decisions! I really love the SS version but I really like the Rose Gold and Gold sport versions too. Thanks for the feedback!

Trying them on was pivotal for me - once on I realized that my wrist size and the 38 were just not compatible. LOL!

Yesterday at the Apple Store i was trying bands on - and one was on a a 38,and it confirmed I looked like a dork with it on. Or at least like I needed to go on a major diet :p

So if you can go try them on - do that!

So yesterday while at the Apple Store I tried on their leather loop and the Milanese loop. I cannot wear the Apple leather one - it is long enough that no matter which side I connect it on it hurts my wrist. The Milanese Loop though was a win - the thinness aspect me it not matter.

And I decided I love the turquoise/sage looking sport band. Huh. But i'm too cheap to buy it!!

This morning I went back to my black sport and I have to say that is is way more comfy for me than the red Clockwork band. Which mades me sad. I wanted to wear it at home - but wearing it with the tab facing inside has already caused the end to fray after the 3-4 days it was on. It will be my Disney outing band i guess - if i'm not at home I don't have to turn it around, so that is a win.

I guess i'll order a cheap Moko sport band to have some color on my wrist for now! Thank you AlliFlowers for the push to try on the other 2 bands yesterday!

I haven't had any issues with my third party milanese loops and I wouldn't worry too much about the negative reviews about magnets failing. I'm not even sure how that's possible and the chance is so absurdly slim. And, frankly, even if you are the unlucky one whose apple watch falls to the ground and breaks (which really really really seems like a slim chance), it still costs less to fix the watch with apple care than it would to buy an official milanese loop. By a LOT.

I love my 38mm rose gold, but I struggled with whether to go RG or just straight gold. I actually bought both and wore them both for about a week (one on each wrist --- yes, I felt like a douche) so that I could decide which one I liked best. As far as size, I thought I would want a 42mm, but when I went to the store to try both on, the 42mm just looked way too clunky on my wrist. Can you get to a retailer to try on the 42 and see how it looks? The right size all sort of depends on the size of your wrist!

That's funny you said that lol I already have the Rose Gold 38mm and I ordered the 42mm Gold. And I'm going to do just what you did, walk around with both of them on to see which one I like better. The stores near me are always so packed I made a appointment to have my phone looked at so I'm going to see if I can take a peek at the watches and maybe make a decision there!

it seemed unlikely - but hey, i've never had a watch band with magnets before either! LOL

Right now i'm not getting Apple Care, a chance i'm going to take. It was a stretch to get the watch right now. I rarely chance things - but alas, living on the wild side here.

But, no way would I be buying the official one anyway! Well, maybe if I won the powerball or something :D

I can't decide what to order.....

Just got my watch for my birthday last Saturday and had no idea there were so many options out there for bands. While I love the feel of the material on the Apple Watch Sport bands, I would never pay $50 for a replacement band. Heck, I've been saving like crazy just to get the watch, I'm not made of money! Anyway, I had to comment because the purple paisley one would almost match my one Vera Bradley bag. It would be really cool if Vera Bradley made a line of watch bands to match their most popular patterns, they've already done that with phone cases.

I have had a blast reading through this thread and seeing all your bands. Right now, I am just ecstatic to have the watch! Got it on sale at BB for $249, the most I've ever paid for anything I wear other than maybe my wedding dress! LOL

I know AllieFlowers has seen these and I apologize if someone else has posted but to the rest of you that haven't. Look at these pattern printed LL. although they're not my favorite colors I've got hope that a printed LL might be on the way from other eBay sellers. http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=141731461478

Thank you for that info! I have been looking at the JETech on Amazon because they have a rose gold ML but not liking the price. I'll have to search for that MoKo. Not all of us are rich! LOL! I barely afforded the watch and that was with saving my pennies and gift cards since Christmas and my mom chipped in the difference for my birthday last week. BB having them on sale for $249 helped! I would have loved the SS version but since it took me pre-Christmas to February to save $150, it'd be another year before I could have gotten the SS version. Being poor sucks, especially when you have a champagne taste on a beer budget!

I ordered both the JETech and MoKo versions of the Milanese loop. To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference between those two so I returned the JETech as it cost twoce as much as the MoKo. They are not as good as the Apple versio. but are good for the price - less than $30 for the MoKo on Amazon.

I've bought SO many damn bands already. I'm dying for the black steel bracelet to go with my black steel watch, but I refuse to pay $400 for just a steel bracelet when the watch was $500 (Got it during Best Buy $100 off).

I feel ya! Someone posted the black ML on a rose gold watch and it was awesome! I can't afford to do many extra bands but damn I want a ML and either a LL or a leather buckle.

I finally caved last night and ordered a black milanese. Got the regular one, but what I hated about some of the pictures of the black one is that it looked just like nylon mesh and not metal at all.

Between the leather loop and the milanese, as somebody who's got both styles, I'm going to recommend the rose gold milanese. I've got two 3rd party leather loops ($18 each), and while some people have had absolutely no problems with theirs, some have said theirs have started tearing. The milanese 3rd party bands seem much more less likely to do that.

Here's a link to one that matches the rose gold: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016MWND2Q?psc=1&ref_=redir_mobile_desktop&ref_=yo_ii_img

Okay, this is what I meant to post earlier, for some reason only one of them posted. I love the rose gold!

Also, I have a Casemate Naked Tough case on my watch and I absolutely love it! Very minimal, seems to provide good protection and it's clear so you can still see the pretty rose gold case. I also have the clear naked tough case on my rose gold 6s Plus.

This thread is great, I'll be watching now for bands on the rose gold sport watch for ideas.
