Thanks so much! I'm a fan of the 5 pointer, too! My husband prefers the Milanese loop on me tho because of the "everything old is new again" look.

Clockwork Synergy band from Amazon with Utica guy spring adapters. 20mm. The band is a bit big for me even on last hole. It is leather backed. I ordered this and the other style adapters to try out before I order a high end custom band. Let me know if the pics don't work!

And I prefer the mesh. I think it looks great!

I have both bands in silver. I'm a platinum girl which is funny because I loved gold about 15 years ago. I have quite a few gold Tiffany pieces that I don't even wear. I wish I could go back to gold . Maybe I've been inspired by you ladies to dig put my jeweley box of pieces! I love change so maybe it's time to Just Do It!

What band do you ladies use for going out?
It depends on what I wear now and where I go.
Grocery shopping I wear a classic buckle. Out to eat either 5 bead/ Milanese/ Link.
For hiking I like the sports bands or leather loop.
I'm always wearing jeans and Vibram five finger shoes so depending on my shoes and my top that's the color band that goes unless is all black and I'm the oddball with the red LL.

LOL, thank you for the run down on what you wear daily. I should have been more specific in regards to going to a nice dinner or date night. It looks like you ladies favor the milanese loop for fancier occasions. I ended up buying the three bead black Hoco for evening wear since I will be getting the space gray sport. Thanks again

I follow the non oem band thread and I got suckered in to buying the ML clone! I'm so excited to have another silver band. I have the 5 bead but I'm awkwardly in between links so I hardly wear it even though I like it a lot!

That's always going to be problem with links, and especially when you are trying to move the buckle to the middle... I'm also worried with bands with holes that are too far apart, so it's either a tad loose or a tad tight... The ML would be a fantastic addition, especially if you end up with a good one.

Hey everyone, I wanted to get a woman's perspective on the aluminum watch vs. the stainless steel model. Does anyone with the aluminum watch think that its not "dressy" enough? I want to get one for my wife for our anniversary and want it to be as versatile as possible so she wears it a lot. Thanks.

I would get the SS. I had the space grey and returned it because it wasn't dressy enough for my daily wear. I am a lawyer and wear it to court with suits. I also wear it with business casual as well as with all my casual stuff including shorts, t shirts and flip flops. Dress it up or down with the bands (though I have the Milanese and it goes with everything).

That's what I was thinking too. This thread seems to be pretty well split between the sport and stainless steel. The SS seems to go with everything and it won't clash with the rest of her jewelry. I also think it would go really well the the bands Jmona shared a few posts before mine. I think my wife will really like those.

Does she wear a watch now and, if so, what's the material? I usually wore a stainless steel watch or a black ceramic watch that had a high shine before getting the Apple watch. The space grey is really cool, but the SS is more versatile for me. No regrets about switching. Oh I also like the sapphire crystal.

She used to wear watches, then she got a fit bit so that kind of replaced the watch location on her wrist. Her past watches were stainless though, so I guess that kind of just answered my question :). I got the aluminum watch for Fathers days. I didn't go the SS route because I want to shell out the $$ for a SS model on a first gen product. Really regret that now.

I had the Sports watch but I didn't like it much because it felt too light. I'm glad I got the SS. It was a great investment. It'll last longer, you can get any band to use it with unlike the sport because all the adapters are SS. I say go for SS. She will love it and it's the perfect watch for a woman IMO.
