My Decoded black leather case has just turned up, it’s perfect! Secure fit, no gaps, buttons are excellent and it’s lightweight.

The camera ring is a tiny bit sharp on the edge but that will likely wear down over time.

Overall 9/10.

How is the lip around the phone and on the camera as well? I see some people complaining that it is not enough.

It’s more than enough… even with a screen protector fitted there’s enough lip to stop anything touching the screen when placed face down, and the camera ring the same.

Whether they’ve made changes I’ve no idea, but it’s as close to the perfect fitting Apple cases as I’ve found.

Would you be able to post pics with the phone in the case? Just want to see what it looks like with the natural titanium.

How strong is the MagSafe on the bullstrap cases? I’m very intrigued, I can’t afford it now but I love the look. I just want a strong magnet for my wallet.
The MagSafe is very strong on my Bullstrap case, as strong as my Apple leather case for my previous iPhone. Button function is excellent as well, and there is a button for the action button. I am very pleased with this case so far, by far the best alternative I have found.

Fit seems better than the previous Bullstrap I purchased and returned for an iPhone 12 Pro.

I ordered the Bullstrap matching wallet and it seems to be a little smaller than the Apple wallet, unless I am mistaken. I was disappointed with that. It may be because the leather is much tighter than Apple's. Very hard to get cards in and out of the new wallet.

Decoded:
Weighs 35g and is pretty slim! Mine does not smell like leather at all and the buttons have sharp edges which isn't a deal breaker. Nice texture to the case, a bit worried how it will patina after seeing some photos of it looking like the apple “leather” after a month.

Decoded vs Andar.
I’ve been using the buttonless Andar Aspen and really like it except for of course no button and on mine the buttons are a little sharp.

With all the high praise of the Decoded I thought I’d try it since it was available on Amazon.

It fits looser than the Andar. The corners pop off very easily.
Does not smell, look or feel like Full Grain leather. The closest comparison I would say is the Lonli Edition. The Decoded has the exact same feel and look as that. It’s not too bad but if I didn’t have the Andar my next choice would be the Lonli Edition.

The Andar feels, looks and smells like real Full Grain Leather. The fit is very tight. The negatives are what I stated above. The MagSafe magnet is stronger than both the Lonli and the Decoded.

As of right now I’ll be returning the Decoded and I’ll most likely order a redesigned Andar.

Is the andar the same thickness as the lonli? Could you weigh them?

I no longer have the Lonli.

Weight (my digital scale):
Decoded - 37g
Andar - 39g

Width (near buttons):
Decoded - 80.5mm
Andar - 80.9mm

Length - Digital calipers are not wide enough to measure.

Height:
Decoded - 11.84mm
Andar - 12.22mm

Wall thickness without measuring the lip:
Decoded - 1.76mm
Andar - 2.16mm

That's a shame, my black one is nothing like your experience. Perhaps different materials, different process, older version - but mine is secure, smells of leather and is near perfect. I would contact them, or as you say return via Amazon.

Must be a defectife Decoded case. My iPhone holds very strong in it. The edeg will not easily pop out and do also not move compared to the Mujjo. My Decoded has another issue. The lip around the corner is flush. It looks like the cutout for the camera is not cut out correct. I will receive my new one today. Also my Lonli Case will arrive today.

Without that Issue the Decoded is my favourite case.

I had 3 Andar Cases for my 14PM and was really happy with them. The only issue is that 2 of them I dropped relatively eraly because they feel slippery in the first few days and then got scuffed leather. It didin`t look nice. 1 came like this directly from Andar and they did not want to replace it and only offered me a few bucks back.

I will give Andar another try when they have the Version with the Action Button in stock.

Just received the blue decoded case for the pro max. So far so good! Was able to get one off amazon (US). I like it a lot more than I expected as I was a big fan of Andar in past. Doesn’t smell, snug and nice fit. Buttons work well and everything is aligned perfectly! Highly recommend!!

If anyone can recommend a MagSafe ring holder that will fit well with the blue case pls let me know. Currently have the pikata ring but sorta looks dumb on the back of the blue case.
