Need to get the Saddle Brown case for my 8 Plus. Does anyone know if the case is compatible with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector?

I love saddle brown patina but it just feels very sticky in my hands. Prefer using the silicone better.

Do yours feel sticky at all?

I have used Apple Leather cases and they definitely get a residue on them but I wouldn't have described it as sticky. Although I've seen some relatives with Apple leather cases that look absolutely horrible - blackened and, yes, sticky by that definition.

I use a Sena Wallet case and it definitely isn't as soft as when I first bought it but like a good leather wallet, it has gotten a little glossy and is a bit more grip-able but far from sticky imo. But could be my own bias towards my own things. :p

I just got the saddle brown and I can't wait to break it in. These leather cases are my favorite. I like the silicone ones but i can't use them, they attract far too much dust and smudge terribly and I can't stop cleaning them.

We're over three months past release so there's gotta be some significant patina happening out there! I don't think I've seen any showing the aubergine (sp?) yet.

I have the aubergine and I can't get any patina to show on it. Has a few dents and scratches because life happens, but no darkening or anything like that. The edges are a little shinier

How long have you had it? I see you started out with the pink back in November but ten pages is a lot to go through. :)

I bought the pink and aubergine within 2 weeks of each other and use them both pretty equally. Well maybe the aubergine just slightly more?

Any updates for the Cosmos Blue users?

I started with the Cosmos Blue and after a month, it was showing dark on the corners and sides. I am now switching between the CB, Saddle Brown, (very little wear thus far) and Black case (same wear as the CB). I have had my iPhone X and cases since launch day.

I have had the Cosmos Blue leather case on my iPhone 8 Plus for a good 3 months and can honestly say, it has held up its colour extremely well (unlike my previous Midnight Blue which turned REALLY dark in only a few weeks).

It's still the original colour it was out of the box - the only parts which have changed ever so slightly are the corners which have become slightly more shiny than the rest of the case, where it touches my pockets when I pull it in and out.

I would take some pics however the lighting here in the office, is really yellow/cream like and coupled that with my off-white desk, it gives a totally incorrect colour appearance when shooting the case!! o_O

Hi! I have a saddle brown on my iPhone X and I really like this color. I had this color for all my iPhone and I think it’s the best. I have bought mine 12 days ago and I share here photo.

Shesh... I dont get how these cases get so dark for some people. Mines slightly discolored, i can really tell where my fingers rest on the back when i'm holding it lol.
For me, it's the dye of my jeans that turns the edges. It's SUUUUUPER noticeable on my pink case but you totally can't tell on the aubergine (still looks new).

For those don’t want to wait, I dyed my case with Tandy oil dye in saddle to darken it. Turned out excellent with the added benefit of providing drastically increased grip. After using the case for a month, only the edges where I held it were darkeninad it looked terrible. I grabbed an old bottle of Tandy’s I had and I basically scrubbed in the dye with a paper towel first to embed the dye....I think this helped with removing the protective top layer Apple applies. I layered 3 coats allowing about 30 seconds between each coat (it dries rapidly and stains everything, be careful). Finally took an old cotton cloth to put the final coat on and buff it out. Turned out perfect!
