Picked up an Ink case on clearance from Woot.com and the lightning cutout was so misaligned it won't work with my charger. The power button is way stiffer than my other Apple Leather cases. Such a bummer because the Ink color is getting harder and harder to find.

I agree. I am hoping to pick up another one as this one has the corner that is kinda loose. 🥲
The fit and buttons of the black one is much much better.
The leather, whilst smells real, it does look really cheap and nasty though. It's the heavily mottled/textured leather and is shiny. I won't use it; prob chuck it on eBay

I really wanted a leather case because fine woven was not good at all,
i brought Mujjo leather case which looks and feel awesome, but, it's a shame that they call it magsafe compatible,
the magsafe is so low which makes magsafe accessories not relevant at all,
an aliexpress leather case has much more stronger magnets,
that's awful.

Got one from Torro quite chunky, MagSafe didn’t work, but actually prefer it to my Apple woven one, so kept it at a reduced price.
Sometimes the wireless charging works on my charger at work, never on my duo, but my Apple battery pack connects every time, all rather strange.

This to me is still one of the best colors Apple released in the leather case beside the holy grail saddle brown of the 11s and under.
I am still rocking the Ink on my Deep Purple 14PM. Had it since launch, and have 2 back up Ink leather cases in case anything happens. It’s not the best leather you can get, but it’s the best leather case I can find. I have tried Bullstrap, Andar, Bluebonnet, Mujjo, and Keyway. Bullstrap has amazing buttons, but can’t do the open bottom. The Andar buttons stick out too far and are sharp. The Bluebonnet had way to stiff buttons. The Mujjo felt amazing but had Andar like buttons. Stick out way too far. Finally keyway with the nasty X and just not the total package. I have given up. Apple leather case it is. It has its flaws, but has the best fit, best buttons, feels good, and looks good. Leather isn’t great and ages not the best, but worth it for over all package.
Feel like this thread should be renamed the leather shopping and shipping status thread. When was the last time we saw any proud patina on here? When this thread started it was all photos... now its like 1 photo every few pages.
So I ordered from a place called MaxPureCases, and they have all the colors. Mine is coming in today, so I will let you known if it’s a bust or not. Hoping for a great place to get replacements from.

Almost launch day Apple leather In case. It has some battle scares, but over all, it’s held up well.
Mine arrived today, have to say quality is top notch, fits perfect, nice clicky buttons, aligned cut-outs too, great case.

Always funny how different taste can be. I think the new FRWD Case from Bullstrap looks awesome and I just ordered in the Solstice color (Navy). I need something more waterproof for my hiking activities and I think this will be a great alternative to my RL Black leather case (closed bottom for iPhone 15 Pro Max) – also, black has become quite dull to me :/
My slate Keyway after about 3 weeks of use. It seems to be getting a little more grey/less brown as it patinas. I did switch back to using my dbrand leather skin a couple weeks ago. I just really love how the phone feels without a case. I was also surprised I was able to reinstall the skin with no issues. I’ve been trying to find a slate or grey leather skin but no luck.

Oh dear, well my package is out for delivery. Let’s see what I get. My guess if it sketch it will be a Chinese PU case and not leather. Their customer service was spot on so far, so this should be interesting.
I’m curious how this green dyed Nomad Horween is holding up. I have a black Horween sitting in its box in the bottom of a drawer.. thinking about giving this a try. Anyone else here have experience with bleaching and dying leather? Tips, product recommendations, or any insight would be appreciated
