I’m checking locally to see who can emboss Apple logo on the back of leather cases.
Man I would kill for embossed Apple logos. For now laser will have to do. I will say tho, permanent adhesive stickers on my RL has held up for 3 weeks now.

LC case arrived earlier than expected! Here’s my thought:
(Cases in photo: LC 15PM, BS 15PM, RL 14Pro

Case thickness (thinnest to thickest): LC > BS > RL

Leather Dryness when new: LC (quite dry)> BS >> RL (supple)

Leather quality (Smell): RL >> BS >>> LC

Leather quality (Overall): RL > BS > LC

Button clickiness: BS=RL > LC (Slightly crooked buttons, but not really affecting clickiness)

Camera bump height: LC=BS=RL

Screen lip (Smallest to biggest): LC < BS=RL

Overall, I’m very satisfied with my new LC case; the leather looks good and although quite dry, adding leather conditioner makes it a lot better; buttons are a tiny bit stiffer and crooked than BS and RL, kind of feels like the Official Apple leather case, but still very clicky; speaker grill alignment is perfect, the charging port opening is slightly crooked to the right though (does not affect charging).

Despite the minor defects on the case, I would still highly recommend this case considering it only cost $30. But if you want the absolute best quality case available, I would still recommend BS or RL, especially BS cases for its choice of colours. (Also l kinda dig the Bullstrap logo:p)

camera Bumps are definitely not equal. Both of my luckycoin cases have a smaller bump than my Ryan London or andar.

Given I have camera lenses covers on because I like them. Without them you’ll be fine either way.

Did you print the logo on yourself?
Yeah laser machine

Is that Dark Brown or Tan?

I found the leather quality of their closed-bottom case subpar to the shell case. I was hoping it felt identical to their open-bottom case.
Exactly my experience when I ordered both a few weeks ago, difference in leather quality was immediately noticeable.

For those with case addiction, it's sobering to check eBay for prices of used cases. Even the expensive ones depreciate faster than a new car. In fact, they sell for so little, it's hardly worth listing them, which means they're probably destined for your nearest trash can.

I sold my one week old Andar turquoise for £18 😭

I did get a different colour as a replacement for that one so it was free money effectively but still. It was a real struggle to sell it too.

Slate 10 days of usage next to a new black BS.

Slate looks great when it’s new but it feels much different than other BS cases. Hard to explain but i like the feel of the black or sienna cases much more. Slate was slick at first as expected but after 10 days it felt like a cheap rug. The black version is nice and grippy out of the box.

Case variation is real. I have a slate here that I love because it's so grippy.

I've seen identical models of cases have different feels out of the box. Must be a leather thing.

Beware: Andar's buttons are sharp on the edges. I've tried two. Most uncomfortable! I've never felt anything like it. Obvious design flaw unless you're a masochist. Someone at Andar should be fired over this.

My Andar case's buttons protrude so far that there's a tiny gap between the bottom of the button and the actual leather case. I really like the Moss color Aspen case but returned it since I decided to keep my LuckyCoin case.

Saw a Youtube review of leather cases recently, and the guy commented on the Andar's sharp buttons. He said someone had to point it out to him, but then he noticed. No one had to point it out to me. It was the first thing I noticed. I tried to rationalize it but had too many good cases to compare them to. The Andar's leather is nice, but the sharp buttons ruin the product.

Ryan London buttons are nice.

Ryan London buttons are nice.

Everyone's buttons are nice compared to Andar's. That's my takeaway. I had cases from Apple, Bullstrap, and Alto to compare them to. No cases had buttons so sharp that they made me worry about cutting my fingers on them like Andar's. I'm serious about my comment that someone from Andar should be fired over this. If I owned that company, I'd have the appropriate people in a room RIGHT NOW and get some answers about how these cases got through design cert and QA. Producing cases with buttons that aren't sharp is not rocket science.
