Dang yall keep costing me money! I was waiting on Suti to release their leather phone back but it looks like nomad beat them to it. Wish they had more color options.

I've tried dozens of leather cases, and I noted that grippiness varies from unit to unit in leather cases, regardless of brand. I've had Apple cases that were too slippery and others that were the grippiest I've ever held. Same with Bullstrap and others.

Sadly if grippiness is of importance, sometimes you just have to keep trying until you find units that are grippy.

Good write up. The reason I got the RL open bottom and not the Bullstrap was because of specs, L W D
 
Having a lot of fun with turquoise this year, love the color and how it kinda shifts color depending on lighting. Loving my andar also but been using my luckycoin a little to see. Update on it so far. After it being dry, I used andars leather balm a couple of times and it helped a lot.

I've been using a black Lucky Coin for the past few days to trying an break in some grip with it. When I got it I gave it a good cleaning with Geist leather cleaner and a couple of coats of their leather conditioner which made it much softer (the leather was very thirsty). It's still quite slippery after 4-5 days of use. Hopefully after 8-10 more days it'll absorb enough oil from my hands to start gripping up.

The Lucky is good for the price of $30. When I compared to my Ryan London, there’s definitely a difference in quality.

Agreed, for the money the LuckyCoin is better than some I've used that have cost more, but it's not as good as my Andar, RL or any of my Bullstraps in terms of overall quality. There's nothing stand out bad, but it's a very thin (and lightweight) leather.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about YMW on AliExpress.
 
Can anyone recommend a fairly decent, inexpensive leather cream/balm available on Amazon?

Today I received my leather case from Aliexpress for £9 and I”m so impressed!!! Feels so good,lightweight,pop up magsafe logo…I’ll bought more colours definitely!!!
