So there is a difference other than the metal. One has full coverage all the way around the case, and the other has the bottom area were the charging port, speaker, and mike are opened with a lip on the back. That's maybe the biggest thing to consider, but a few others.There’s a metal and non metal case 🤔

Closed bottom has a camera control button on it. So no cutout. The open bottom has a cutout. The leather is better on the open bottom. Whatever checks the most boxes for you is the one to go with.

Yes sir! I have been in the leather game for awhile lol. But yes I am very picky when it comes to cases, so I have tried them all. For me the open bottom works the best, but I know not everyone appreciates those. Always here to help though. Let me know how you like once you get it in. It truly is a beautiful case.

What do you use to treat your RL?
I prefer the open bottom as think it's easier to "swipe up". Like the Apple Clear Case.
I’m with my brother in leather @kirbysmartsdawg I’ll add that if you are going leather Ryan London is in a league alone. I’ve tried them all and have never had a quality control issue with Ryan London since their inception. Can’t say the same for Bullstrap. Case after case and user after user comment on quality control and customer service issues. The difference is mind blowing both is quality and company.

To me that looks like natural oil or lotion on hands. Not gross at all. Beautiful actually!!
Could be, not a fan of the black on brown look myself.
My wife always has the brown nomad folio, and they end up like that after a few years rolling around in a handbag lol
I have the black Bullstrap and my husband has dark brown RL. my son has the ocean Bullstrap.. my sons is the only one that’s darkened because he uses a lot of lotion. But it still looks good IMO.
I personally just love the black. It always stays nice no matter what
Yep I only buy black, my Wife loves the nomad rustic brown colour, on her third now.
You are not being rude at all my friend. This is just my experience and stating what the majority consensus is on this thread. Gapgate is the first and only issue we have heard with RL and yes even tho Jun who is RL GM and I have a fantastic relationship I too did not like the response. At the end of the day it’s all subjective and everyone’s opinion on everything. However far more CS and QC issues with Bullstrap as evident by the posts on here.
For me RL leather is in another league alone. Again that’s subjective and an opinion from someone who has been using leather since leather cases first came out.
