Dbramante1928 full grain leather case for 15 Pro. This is genuinely the closest case I’ve found to the design of the old Apple leather case. Thin, excellent fit, plastic camera ring and nice metal clicky buttons.

Looks great, is this the one you have?

My thoughts too. I picked the same up about 10 days ago too. Fit is spot on for sure. Only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that the buttons are a tad bit sharp. Otherwise I’m pleased. Will be interesting to see how this ages.
Yeah, I did notice the buttons are a little sharp on the edges when new - but over time I'm sure they'll wear down or will get ignored. I still think for the current prices they're selling for, they are really nice cases.

How soft is the leather? I’ve heard that Target, BBY, and other big box stores sell this brand. Are the buttons made of metal?

Guys, I have two AlexGoldfinch black cases for 16 Pro Max. If someone is based in UK and wants one I will give a good deal!
I know there is a sales topic here but I don't have access! If I'm doing something wrong, please excuse me and delete my post.
Thanks!
Never heard of them before? Any good?

The buttons are metal. The leather to me feels like it might have a protective waxy coating on it. I've been using this case for about 10 days and I feel like the coating is slowly wearing off now. Kind of like what Apple was doing back on the pre 12 series leather. The leather definitely has some texture to it so its not slippery at all, which I appreciate as I've had some slippery cases in the past. I don't know where they get their leather from, all they say on their site is full grain so I guess time will tell. I will say though that the actual fit of the case is the best I've had. Its nice and thin like the Apple 12-14 series were.

Quality company for sure, but this is 100% case from the same manufacturer as Bullstrap and RYAN London open bottom cases. It just as the Goldfinch logo stamped on it.

What color did you get, and does it patina as it usually does with other competitors like bullstrap or Ryan London?

I got black. Black doesn't really patina, it just gets shiny. So far I'd say the sides are maybe a tiny bit shinier but its only been 10 days so its still early. Its the first time I've ever gone for a black leather case. Black phone in a black case with a black wallet with my black credit card on top... is very stealth. I'm sure in a few months I'll be ready for brown / tan again.

I have two, sienna Brown and taupe, and im really really happy. To me totally on pair With Bullstrap/ Ryan London, not sure they are same manufacturer as someone said, i notice subtle difference, but this could be due to unit differences.
It cost me 35€ each, so even happier haha
They are getting a really good patina, specially sienna Brown.

I said they were the same manufacturer. It's pretty clear that there are only 2 or 3 Chinese manufacturers of these leather cases, and there is 1 for all the open bottom cases. The only difference in these brands are what tannery and tanning process they use, and some use different buttons. Goldfinch just like Luckycoin are a cheaper option of the same shells used by RL and BS.

As you said, you can see subtle differences, each of these companies try and put their own special touch on the case.

You must be right in this, but i dont agree in putting Alex goldfinch alongside Lucky Coin as a "cheaper" option. Ive had bullstrap, luckycoin and RL and if not better they have same quality leather source and treatment than RL and Bullstrap, trust me!
Cheaper as in price. They are cheaper than RL and BS. Not quality. That I dont know, they are just cheaper. Luckycoin isn't really cheaper quality than RL or BS just cheaper cost.

Do they have the camera buttons covered?

I have my 14 pro Ryan London pouch that fits my 16 pro perfectly being as it’s a bit larger but still covers the phone.

it’s a thick leather with felt lining; not a thin, flimsy leather pouch. With it being a pebbled leather there’s not much patina noticeable but it’s a great way to keep your naked phone protected.

Very nice! The pouch actually looked so nice, that I decided to order one for my 16 PM. It arrived yesterday and I could't be happier with it. The quality of the leather and the workmanship are amazing. The leather is very thick, which I like very much. It is easy to slide the phone into the pouch and it stays there securily. And it looks and feels so good.

I had a Wiiuka leather pouch on my 14 PM earlier. While it was also high quality, it was very soft and thin. It made it a bit difficult to use. This RL version is totally different. What a great product!
