I’m not sure that the people who is going to buy the 16e are into leather cases. I think That’s why leather case makers are not selling cases for 16e.Torro cases are fine? The leather is high quality as is the fit and finish.
16e won't flop simply because it's the cheapest new iPhone. Will sell tons, especially on contract and fleet customers.

Maybe, I was only posting it to warn people expecting options when they're going to be very limited.
I agree, it's for boomers like my parents who will buy a £5 flip case off eBay and use it for the next 5 years lol.
My parents are due new phones come to think of it, Dad has a XR and Mum has a 12 both are my hand me downs.
There will be limited options for sure but it’s not like there won’t be any options. Decoded and debramante both have leather options. Others will follow because this phone will sell a lot.
Just a quick photo at my office of my Alex Goldfinch, I think I have been 2? 3 ? months with this case. Patina is looking awesome. I have sweaty hands, so cases with me patinas a lot faster. Leather is awesome, buttons are even softer and clickier. Everything on this case is growing on me, logo looks to me nicer each day, really classy. Not sure if I’m buying a black one now they are discounted or wait for them to bring cc button at full price. BTW someone have a photo of a titanium dessert with a black case? Will they blend good?

You absolutely can't go wrong with gold (dessert) and black! That would look great! I have said for years Apple should offer a black phone with gold rails and titanium camera rings. That would look incredible. In fact I have the dessert 16 pro stock wallpaper on my black titanium 16 pro.
Thank you! Haha, trust me, my sweaty hands could patinas 3 cases at a time haha, also have a taupe AG, and with just 1 month of non continuous use already have signs of deep patina (will post a photo later once arrives home) so this process will go on!

Actually I have a Pro Max! I think I’m waiting for them to release a cc button case instead of buying a third one with the cutout. But if not I will message you!
Well, that’s a question without a clear answer. For me Alex Goldfinch, some would say Ryan London CB because of the Cc button, some will say Bullstrap, and other will say RL OB. If you prefer Open Bottom, look for the cheapest or easiest to get from Alex goldfinch, Bullstrap or RL, both three are top notch quality (also how much you like a logo on your case could be a decisive factor) . If you want yes or yes a CC button, go get Ryan London CB (not my preferred leather feeling case, but is not bad at all)
There is a lot of subjective aspects here and at the moment I think the only consensus here is that there is no “best leather case”.
Belemay via Amazon also have nice leather cases available for the 16e for anyone who might be interested and is struggling to find options…
I have several Japanese shinki leather jackets and boots so I like to think I know a thing or two about leather.

The leather will mold more and shape to the phone with more use. Can't wait to post patina progress.

Got the Alex Goldfinch case for my Desert Titanium. It looks and feels very nice and much lighter than I thought it would be, but I have to say the camera control button cutout kind of sucks. I'll probably get used to it, but it makes the button a bit inaccessible. Overall, I like the case though.
Lovely!!! that logo is growing on me actually, just beautiful. About camera control, it is what it is, i much prefer this than the big cutout that andar have for example. Looks like the same as Bullstrap and RL (I think actually it’s the same), at the end of the day I’ve used that button once in 3 months haha but for sure, yes a CC button will be the icing on the cake.
I had a Pitaka case before this one and I actually liked the big cutout. I do use the CC button a lot so it is annoying, but like I said I'll probably get used to it. A CC button would be nice, but I doubt I'd end up buying another case just for that.
Did you? It looked unpleasant to me, didn’t get use to it, makes the cc button esier to use but for me wasn’t worth it. Hope you get used to it. Keep posting how patina is developing ✌🏻
Ryan London 15 pro Max after 17 months.
Love it and I am a bit sad that I now will get a new one with my 16 pro Max next week.
I went for the Alex Goldfinch, but I just hope the CC button cut out will work. Spoke to RL customer support, they said no CC button for the open bottom version in the planning.

I wouldn’t recommend those, patina with those is quite bad, and leather feels is definitely subpar, and quite pricey for what they are offering. If Nomad get Hornween Leather, and even with that leather isn’t a great leather case. That’s just my opinion.
