This is stupid. Headphone jacks don’t offer anything you don’t get with BT 5.0 except tangled up wires.

BT has its place (the gym), but let's not pretend there is one BT. There are codecs coming where it would probably take some serious dog ears to hear a difference from cord listening. But you need to pair headphones with correct codecs to a phone that supports that. It's harder to find nice things, that's all. But most people don't care, listens to hard compressed Spotify - so full circle, maybe you are right. It doesn't offer anything.
