Played with the s6 for a while and I honestly wouldn't trade my G3 for it. If LG doesn't knock this out of the park I'll just continue on with my g3.

Has the UI lag been fixed on the G3? It was always sluggish when I used it.

Tbh I use the Google Now Launcher.

There is a bit of lag but I have the UK version which has less RAM.

I think the G4 will rectify most of the issues the G3 has, and so I may well be interested. Especially if the price is right.

You got more open-minded over the time, which is a good thing

I also bought an iPhone and definitely realized my error. I shouldn't have defended iOS.

It's not a bad phone at all, it's just not as customizable and I prefer how Android does a lot of things. Plus point for the amazing camera and continuity though.

See they're keeping the removable battery and sd card slot. They'll try to take some business from Sammy

I'm really liking what I'm seeing. The screen is much better, brighter and with better color reproduction. Way better than the G3, but I will need to see that in person, obviously.

I'm also hoping battery life is better. I like the curved design and the different back panels. Maybe the leather one actually feels nice in the hand, and it seems it's possible to change it for another, so that's great.

Camera is also improved, more RAM, still microSD, etc.

I don't remember which processor they will use. Does anyone know? Is it the 810 or a home made one?

Leather back is really really ugly. :(

Thankfully they have other options, but still, I don't know... I think the G3 looks better than the supposedly leaked G4. The front, what is with that pattern design in the front bezel? Is it Kevlar?

The device as a whole reminds me of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus with that slightly curved shape.

Agreed.
Regarding battery I think chances are good we will see a bigger one than 3500mAh, because the G4 will be slightly wider and longer than the G3, if leaks are true.

I don't think it's terrible but the Moto X's implementation was much better looking. The plastic panels still look awful though. And agree, the pattern on the bezel looks equally terrible. Sorry but this seems very much like something I'd have expected from Samsung of yesteryear. Maybe that's who LG is targeting now that Samsung has gone an entirely new direction.

Yeah, especially by retaining the removable battery and SD slot. I agree, it feels like LG is a tad behind Samsung as Samsung is a tad behind Apple when it comes to design.

Mark my words, next year we're going to see a G5 with a unibody design. With Samsung, HTC, Apple, Moto and all Nexus devices employing this design, LG will not want to be left out in the cold, so to speak.

This is the beauty of an open eco system. Samsung seems to be going to a unibidy design and nixing SD cards and removable batteries. But any other OEM can step up and fill that customer need!!
Like LG is poised to do with the G4!
