This phone looks incredible. I think the form factor is perfect... it's 5.5" but almost the same size as the S6, and considerably smaller than other 5.5" phones like the iPhone 6 Plus.
Quad HD screen, removable battery, incredible camera... this seems like the perfect phone. The only thing holding it back, in my opinion, is LG's ugly skin. I have no idea what sort of process is required to put pure Lollipop on it and keep it updated, but I'm not sure I'd want to go through with the trouble after experiencing the seamless updates on the Nexus 6.
But still, I can't take my eye of this phone. I wish hardware manufacturers like LG would stick to hardware and let Google handle the software.
Man, how great would it be if Google chose LG to make the next Nexus device? Polish up the G4 a bit, throw stock Android on it. Boom. I'm sold.

I am very interested in upgrading to the LG G4, but I've never had an LG device before. Can someone comment on the LG customer support experience for customers in the US?
With my smartphone addiction I am trying to figure out of I am going to jump in the LG world once again. The G3 was pretty dope but I just really hate LG's interface on top of Android. Time will tell the more I hear about it. Pretty content with my S6.
And the more manageable s6 size keeps my interest low on the g4.

I think the reviewer just didn't like the phone. It happens sometimes. But he shouldn't let that get in the way of an unbiased review of the product.Rubbish review from Ars, really missed the point.

He really didn't like the leather backs.
The reduction in size when going from Note 4 to S6 has been a blessing. If anything I wish the S6 had come in a hair smaller at 5" even.
Overall I am much more satisfied with my S6 in daily use. I just don't see the appeal of phablet size screens or even screens bigger than the S6.
If the future I will stay the same in screen size or smaller.
.
I'd trust an MRU review from this forum over somehow who spends the 2 days with it and has to knock out 3000 words lol.
LG has commenced shipments of the LG G4 in a few markets this week, although customers in the UK have to wait until May 28 which is when Carphone Warehouse will start deliveries to get their hands on the device.
The UK-based retailer is exclusively offering the Black Leather option in the country, with the brown and grey color variants also on offer. Carphone Warehouse has also mentioned that the first 400 customers to pre-order the LG G4 will receive an LG P7 Music Flow Bluetooth speaker valued at £129 for free.
