Chrome crashes for me.

The program itself will open and I can navigate to a webpage, but I get the blue chrome error page shortly after (if I try to scroll). Anyone else with this

Just got it fixed, seems I was on the beta version of chrome. I deleted it and installed the stable release and all is well.

This is especially a pain for me, on my test computer there are several broken keys, including the question mark and I used better touch tool to bind other key combinations (control+alt+Q was a question mark) to the broken keys. Back to the on-screen keyboard I guess.

Parallels Desktop 9 works for me.

VMWare not working

I can't access VMWare anymore. Also, wifi does not connect to WPA2 Enterprise.

OS X 10.10 Yosemite - All of the apps that aren't working.

I am going to compile a list and update it as often as possible so we can all have a one stop go to thread.
Also this will be updated per build. Just report back with wether your apps works or doesn't work.

I am just checking different threads and compiling the info here. So if I list an app feel free to reply back if it does work for you.

Skype working fine for me, MacBook Pro Retina, mid 2012. Upgraded from Mavericks (i.e. not clean install). Have been using today with video calls, voice calls and messages without issue. Same OS version. Skype version 6.15 (330)

Posting names of apps without their version numbers will leave a lot of unanswered questions.

You posted the specific build of the OS. It'd be good to include each app's version number, too.

I had the same problem with the Beta channel. Pushed me to try the new Safari....and I'm typing from there right now ;)

Apps that don't open - 14A238x
iMovie 10.0.3- fails to open (must run the unix executable in appname.app/Contents/MacOS/appname)
Vmware 6.03 - fails to open (must run the unix executable in appname.app/Contents/MacOS/appname) However cannot launch VM Images - symbol errors

Apps with bugs - 14A238x
Lync 2011 (14.0.8) - opens but fails to connect (Office 365)
Quick Look/Preview - only shows blank pages for word docs
Safari 8- occasionally freezes, improved once I disabled extensions (Adblock 2.6.37 and DuckDuckGo 1.6.1)
Snagit 3.02 - opens but fails to capture screenshots
Vmware Tech preview 2014 - opens but cannot launch VMs - symbol errors (same as 6.03)

on rMBP Mid 2012 (10,1)

Calendar

Calendar doesn't see to remember where to place the main window between restarts. I resize window and place it near to menu bar then when I quit and restart Calendar its back to where it was before I adjusted size and position. I looked in com.apple.iCal preference file and the NSWindow was not being saved.

Here's a list of working and not-working app's.

There are already a few lists on this subject, but I spent a few hours installing and running as many app's as I could to determine what works in 10.10 DP1 (Beta 1).

Note: For Final Cut Pro X/Compressor/Motion, right click on the icon and select "Show Package Contents", "Contents", then "MacOS". Run the "Final Cut Pro" executable, done. Make an alias and place it into your Applications folder. Haven't experienced issues so far, some have with installed plugin's such as FxFactory Pro. If you experience issues uninstall it and use the basic filters.

*Mod's, I realize there are lists already, however not many are as extensive and I plan to add more app's to the list in order to help others. There are many more pro's in the editing and photography industry interested in 10.10 on their nMac Pro6,1 models and I'm sure Apple would like their feedback. Thanks!

Noticed Messages loaded all the open conversations with empty threads. New threads are holding their information.

Cannot get handoff to work on my iPhone 5S w. iOS 8 or my nMac Pro 8-Core with 10.10. Logged out then into my iCloud account on each, made sure Handoff was selected in 10.10 settings, nothing.

I can send files via AirDrop to my iPhone 5s, even another family members' iPad.

Utility launches but reports it doesn't have appropriate permissions to access the disk when attempting to repartition the drive or remove the Recovery volume. The program also reported that a Windows volume wasn't visible in Windows. This was while running the utility from a bootable external USB Flash Drive.

Yeah clean my Mac crashes.

I got an issue with control center. I can't add calculator. It simply disappeared. Any solution?
