Not unboxing just shots from Macworld

I'm really hoping that it hits the stores the same time as it does to those who pre-ordered it. I sold my MBP today and bought a MacBook to hold me over till it comes out because I need something to type in my classes.
Once it comes out i'll exchange it for the air... $100 hit isn't too bad, just gotta work 1 night of overtime at the clinic

It ships Feb 6th (Wednesday), delivery by the 11th (Monday)
Also got
the external Superdrive and
the ethernet USB
Those are to ship Feb 6th and arrive the 8th (Friday)
What, they bring the little stuff on Friday and can't drop off da bomb?
Clearly the gap from 8th to 11th is for FedEx to have time to throw it around and then write up a review of MacBook Air's aerodynamic properties.

I tried changing the shipping options so it would get here quicker, but I couldnt because it was " already prepared for shipment or already shipped".

Hopefully that means that Apple shipped the MBA's out early as a surprise for those that preordered. In your experience has Apple shipped out preorders earlier than stated in the past?

it's prob nicely packed on a crate and they dont' want to bother unpacking it to change 1 order and delay the rest

i just ordered 25 of them for my business with all the extras. probally will take untill the next macworld keynote then theyll be obsolete
My original Amazon ship date was Febuary 5th. Tonight I decided to UPGRADE to one day shipping, and now my ship date shows March 19th . I was not happy to say the least so I contacted them. Basically their estimated ship date is not set in stone, so the CSR told me not to worry. I am still cautious so if worse comes to worse I am hitting up my local Apple store the day of.

Yes I did the same thing and the ship date changed. I mentioned earlier though that the ship date is purely fictional.
I think us Amazoners with one day shipping are in a good position. Easily go either way, Amazon or the retail store.
