Best thing one can do is reminding them in Twitter, stating that their competitors already updated. A daily reminder works better.
It doesn't look like Sling is updated for the new iPad's. Same with YouTube TV. So it looks like only PS Vue and Hulu are the two live streaming services that have updated their respective apps for the new screens.
I know the App Store shuts down for the holidays, so I'm hoping that DTV Now updates their app prior to the holidays. I get more and more ticked off each day that goes by and no app update. I mean, they're owned by AT&T, it's not like they're some small developer. It just really irritates me.

I wonder why some apps that have been updated for the new aspect ratio do not show the changes until I delete and redownload the app. First it was Netflix, and now the Yahoo Sports app for me. Yahoo Sports was updated a week ago with the new changes and I didn’t realize it til I delete and redownload it today. I might need to check the App Store often for updates and delete/redownload if necessary.
This happened to me with the NYT app. I wonder if it has to do with using a backup from another device, if maybe sometimes it doesn’t connect the app to the AppStore? I just keep checking this thread to see if something I use has updated.
Yes, looks fantastic. That means the only video app I’m still waiting on is DirectvNOW. I sent them screenshots of their app v Hulu, but of course they’re still ignoring me. Grr.
It’s not listed here, but I noticed the other day that Civ 6 is now updated! Looks great on the 11.
I don’t know, because I bought it a year ago. I was playing it on my 11 last time I traveled, a month ago, and it hadn’t been updated, so huge black bars. Then at home I play on my 2017 12.9. But now I’m on another trip, and it’s looking all awesome on the 11. Huge improvement.
Yes, in the iPad Pro 3rd gen 12.9”, there is a black portion that is making the game playing less than the full screen as it used to on the 2nd gen, plus I get unintentional control clicks accidentally pushed and it ruins the gameplay completely. This is still unfixed.
Yeah, they’ve updated for the iPad Pros twice now and just can’t seem to get it right. Hopefully the third time is the charm. Hopefully there is a third time.
