Since I installed the last version (before the updates recently) manually w/o Cydia, I'm definitely not upgrading. It'll be too much effort and it works perfectly for me. All that was changed where "bug fixes" and I haven't had any of the bugs. :p

And the issues continue... I updated both yesterday and today, and today's update is giving me a problem.

It wont update after a little while, my clock won't change, it wont notify me of any missed calls, texts, etc unless I respring, and then it'll only work for a little while... Hopefully he can get it fixed soon!

That's too bad :( The dev is really responsive if you want to give it a shot. Just download syslog in Cydia, then email him the folder located at var/log/syslog. That way he'll know what's causing the crashes. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Can you please share the dep of v1.0.69?

Thanks!!

Are you trying to ask for the .deb file for LockInfo ?

That is a David Ashman extension. I know from communicating with him, his extensions are not anywhere on the Internet in .deb file, just in iSpazio and the older version has now been replaced.

Good luck !

yup.. the newer versions are not working for gruppled style themes.. that's why i asked for the older version..

even when i replaced the newer files (\Library\LockInfo) with an older copy, it didn't work.. i reckon there are more files involved..

anyway, nothing much anyone can do.. just wait for david ashman to fix it i suppose.. :(

What's really odd is that it's not happening to everyone.

I have loaded both of the 2 new updates in the last 24 hours and I am still up and running as normal. I am using the LockInfoFull lockscreen theme but it is very, very similar to Gruppled's theme. Many of the .js files are identical, line for line.

At least David is very responsible and I am sure he will figure it out.

It would be nice if there was a restore to previous version option in Cydia, kinda like Windoze does with drivers.

Maybe someday.

If you want to revert, try googling commands for apt. There are commands for downgrading and downloading specific versions. :D

Yet another version of LockInfo in Cydia this morning.

Installed hoping it would fix my issue... no such luck. I did like how the version notes were something like "tried to fix HTML loading"

It's good to know he's still working on it though! I may try starting from scratch when I get home... we'll see...

Haha that's why I update the first time!

Go to my thread about installing without using Winterboard and then use the old .deb file and follow the directions to extract the .deb to your home directory and install it manually.

You can still use Winterboard to theme when you do this, but you won't get it bugging you to update as Cydia has no clue it's even installed. :D

DHLizzard and everyone else:

I have been using the Lockinfofull theme with great satisfaction. Everything is working except one thing, and that is my voice mails are not registering on my lockscreen. I get missed calls, emails, all of the notifications are given except the voicemails.

Did others experience this and what did they do to address it?

Sorry for not staying to the theme of the thread!

I'm not sure if people here are using that theme... (other than DHLizzard)

Did you used to get Voicemails on it?

If so do other themes show voicemails correctly?

thanks so much for replying. No this is the only theme I have been using.

I was just wondering if others had a problem with their vm notification not showing up under their VM icon regardless of what theme they are using

I don't get a lot of vms so I called myself just now to test it and mine does show up. I'm using the matte theme

I'm running 3.0 JB with the latest Lockinfo and my Clock is off and the theme randomly shuts off.

New update tonight fixed ALL my issues, very similar to the screenshots right above me. I don't know if the dev reads these boards, but THANK YOU for all your hard work the last few days trying to fix this. I'm in the process of donating now! :) I love LockInfo and I always support the devs of apps I use!

Just a heads up to everybody ---->

The newest version of Lockscreen Info, 1.0.83, is now defaulted to native.

For your lockscreen to work, go into settings/Lockinfo and throw the HTML switch in the middle of the page.

That allows the lockscreen theme to display properly.

Are there any advantages to updating so you can use Native rendering? Is it faster? Lower resources?

For me, when it is in native mode, it disables the Lockscreen theme. All that shows up is the calendar items (as per the lockinfo settings)

I guess if I had gotten an e-mail or missed phone calls during the brief time it was set to native, those would of also shown up.

The new build, this morning, has the native slider removed, now the extension recognizes if there is an html lockscreen document and adjusts itself. If no lockscreen html doc is found, it defaults to native. I know I'm impressed with David Ashman's ability !

But is there an advantage?

I'm still running the old version as of before this whole native business came about and people started getting issues. I could upgrade but I don't think I'll bother if it doesn't add anything worthwhile yet.

Hard to say for you, but if I remove my lockscreen theme, native kicks in and "should" still put my missed calls, voicemails, SMS, E-Mails and calendar items on lockscreen page without needing any theme.

I might yank my lockscreen theme out with SSH and see how the native version works, just for grins and giggles.

Since you don't like WB, maybe this is for you.
