Hard to say for you, but if I remove my lockscreen theme, native kicks in and "should" still put my missed calls, voicemails, SMS, E-Mails and calendar items on lockscreen page without needing any theme.

I might yank my lockscreen theme out with SSH and see how the native version works, just for grins and giggles.

Since you don't like WB, maybe this is for you.

Oh, I see... Well I just have Gruppled installed manually now so it looks nice :D Does it have Winterboard as a dependency anymore? Maybe he removed that. I think it is worth me taking a look then. :D Thanks!

Here is what came up in native mode with no Lockscreen theme in phone

As stated, I continue to be amazed with David Ashman !!

Might be time to donate him some more $$$ thru Paypal. It's been a couple of months so with this kind of stuff, he is certainly due.

Hi, what is that slider.. and what font are u using? I am using Myrid Pro and already got bored of it.. wanted a change. Also do u mind sharing ur config.js file. how did u arrange all that settings, removing voicemail, sms and missed call options.

@all, Lock screen was down for a couple of days last week, my screen went blank each time i hit the home button, but after an update late last week its back to normal working just fine.

Did you read the last few posts, those pics are what the updated LockScreen Info extension does in native mode when you have no lockscreen theme installed.

To turn off stuff, go into settings/lockinfo and just switch off the enabled sliders for the categories you don't want.

This is how my lockscreen theme looks, all done by .js and .html files

Yay! So the new LockInfo DOES remove the Winterboad dependency entirely. Great news for me! I like to think it's because of the email I sent to him ;)

I just removed the folders from my manual install and I'm trying to install it from Cydia now.

Even though I said I wasn't going to update anymore, I did since the new version removes the winterboard dependancy  Anyway, it's working great. I like the way the native version looks and as soon as it's supporting Things, I'll be switching to using that instead of matte :) Also, if anyone was holding off on updating to the new version of Weathericon, I jumped the gun on that too but it is also working fine.

I will donate too. It's easy to forget sometimes that these devs are doing this for free. I pay for apps often, it's only fair I give him some money too. Lockinfo and weathericon are my top 2 reasons to stay jailbroken.

Yea, I've been really lucky with all these LockInfo updates, good results for each version. Now what this extension can do it really impressive.

Hey, so how did you get the weather to show in the Native Rendering mode?

Right now I just have the latest LockInfo installed with nothing added and it doesn't show Weather. I had it with Gruppled but it was part of the .js file.

With the native rendering you have to have the newest version of weather icon for weather to show up. I saw the dev post that on macthemes. Or mmi I can't remember which. But anyway, I tried it and that does it.

Makes sense as they both got updated at the same time and I updated both and it's working for me.

Kind of works for me... No images for the 7 day forecast. Weird. Anyone know where these are? I like the images with Gruppled anyways and I'll just put those there.

Thought you got this word earlier. You need both the updated WeatherIcon extension and a weatherIcon theme on your phone to see the images.

Yea, I was posting in a more relevant thread considering this is the not working thread :p

But yea, I got those working just fine. I hadn't had any experience with the WeatherIcon plugin before.

Is there some sort of guide to this new "native" stuff... I really like the gruppled theme I have installed now with the TeaLockBackground. Will this work if I switch to native? I've made numerous changes to the config.js file that I would like to keep. I originally used the guide at http://www.hackthatphone.com/3x/themes_with_winterboard_section27.html to help me get all setup.

I did update to the latest version, but I'm assuming the html file is still there, making it not native, am I right about that assumption? I don't know, I'm so confused, haha!!

Any advice would be appreciated! :)

i've installed Lockscreen Info 1.0.84 thru Cydia,
and got all 3
Gruppled Art.theme, Gruppled LockInfo.theme and Tea LockBackground.theme
folders in /private/var/stash/Themes.HJSaJv
however after activating all 3 in WB,
this is what i get on the lockscreen
2gy0ilj.png

and Lockinfo.theme isn't present in the dir no matter how many times i reinstall Lockscreen Info

i'm running 3.0.1 on iphone 3G
any idea?
thanks in advance:)

I had this a few weeks ago. I ended up having to re-install all my theme folders manually. Also, for some reason, I had my original "working" files for Gruppled Art.theme named MyGruppled Art.theme so when I copied that into my themes folder on the phone and activiated it through Winterboard it worked again. Hope this helps! Good Luck!!

lockinfo.theme is no longer necessary and it's been removed in recent revisions.

Try to make sure Gruppled LockInfo.theme is above Tea LockBackground in the Winterboard order. I think I read this will make a difference.

thanks guys,
but i've tried to re-name and re-order them,
the only difference is when Gruppled Art.theme is before the other two,
the slim slider comes up,
otherwise it's the small lock icon.
this is really frustrating:(

You'll have to look here for answers I think.

Stimpy is the Dev for LockInfo. I'm pretty sure there are some issues being ironed out with HTML rendering right now. It is Beta software anyways :D

finally i figured what's wrong,
when i unzip one of them created another folder with the exact same name,
i.e. \Gruppled Lockscreen\Gruppled LockInfo.theme\Gruppled LockInfo.theme
after i took it out it works now!
newbie mistake:(

All you have to do is install the newest version and not use any themes. It'll then be in native mode.

Just add the repo on cydia and install it.

Probably remove what you did before though to make sure there are no conflicts.
