That's pretty sad to be honest and what a shame. Why not delay the launch for a month or whatever it was going to take?

Exactly. It's unfortunate. I understand the other features (improved camera, 5g, New shape), but it's hard to compete in the flagship market and skip out on this feature. Others may agree and some may also disagree, but after using the 120hz on a note 20 ultra, it's hard to go back to browsing, Facebook, and Instagram on a 60hz screen again.

Zero reasons to upgrade then from any Pro model in the last 2 years. 5G is meaningless right now to most people. LIDAR is a gimmick.

No notch size change, no 120hz, very sad from Apple. Just saw a Poco X3 phone review on Youtube with 120hz display; LCD sure but still. And 5000+ mah battery for $199. So $199 phones now have it but no Apple phone at any price- a joke really.

It's sad, really. In a 2020-2021 flagship device, the notch should just NOT be there. Also, regardless of what people say of face id vs fingerprint scanners, as of today, this happens to be the ONLY flagship device that needs a PIN code or password to unlock if wearing a mask. In this world, it seems so backward to be having to do that. Maybe touch-id had its use case after all.

Agree too. Much rather a tiny teardrop notch or punchhole for the front camera than notch with Touch ID (power button or in-display)

The goal is to have an "infinite supply" at the holidays. We nerds by up the first four runs of the things. If they get too much closer to the holidays, they will almost certainly have low supply at Christmas time.

That’s fine. Just eliminate the 120 and get it right later. We can wait one more year for that.
Agreed. If I'm Apple, I would much rather have the giant changes when more people are wanting to spend money. Now it's a bit questionable.

Can't justify $2000 plus $AUD including apple care plus, no mm wave, and now no 120hz. ?

Might go with the 12 non pro 6.1", save $800 and hope apple get their **** together next year. ?

Was really looking forward to the 6.7" pro max. ?

99.9% of people don't even know what 120hz is or even care lol.

That’s not exactly fair (Nor accurate) to say that they ‘don’t care’, because Apple hasn’t had the opportunity even demo this technology yet. For the majority, it may or may not be a selling point, Look how Apple targets their marketing, it’s geared towards the display, camera or some form of iOS feature like Animoji.
