You save a couple hundred on RAM and internal storage, to go out and buy a:
- USB external GPU enclosure
- at least $500 GPU
That you then bottleneck by running it over USB 4?

Yeah I will say that historically eGPUs have always been better as a concept than they have in reality. Usually better to just get a gaming laptop. There are a lot of 14" choices out there that work fantastic.
